Gary Lucy, Dean Gaffney and Calum Best proved that despite their ages they can still kick it with their younger counterparts as they took part in the Sellebrity Soccer charity match on Monday.

The trio were joined by fresh-faced stars including Owen Warner and Dan Osborne and Tyrique Hyde for the match, which took place at the home of West Ham United, the London Stadium.

The celebrities were playing the charity match to raise funds for The Matilda Foundation – set up in memory of Matilda Cosgrove, who was tragically stillborn in June 2019.

Actor Gary, 42, looked animated ahead of the game as he showed off his biceps and a glimpse of his tattoo in a red polo shirt.

The soap star shot to fame in 1999 as Luke Morgan in Hollyoaks, at just 18 years old and quickly became branded a teen idol and hunk, going on to star in The Bill, Footballers’ Wives and EastEnders.

Gary shares four children with his ex-wife Natasha Gray, and welcomed his seven-month old daughter Bonnie with ex-girlfriend and Love Island star Laura Anderson last year.

He was joined by fellow soap actor Dean, 46, who cut a casual figure in a plain white T-shirt and grey zip-up hoodie.

Like Gary, Dean got his start as a teenager, playing Robbie Jackson in EastEnders from 1993 to 2003.

While son of late footballer George Best, Calum, 43, opted for a younger look, wearing a black baseball cap and a silver chain.

The reality star also sported a blue graphic T-shirt and jeans, leaving his extensive tattoo sleeves on full display.

Calum earned his reputation as a heartthrob and lothario after coming to fame in the 2000s as a reality TV show regular, appearing in Celebrity Love Island, two series of Celebrity Big Brother, Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity Ex on the Beach.

But he previously insisted he hates doing reality shows, saying in 2017: ‘I wouldn’t be doing f***ing reality TV if I didn’t need to… I do these things as I need to earn a living.’
