Dr. Chris Brown has revealed that he is ready to settle down and start a family – he just needs to find the right woman.

The 45-year-old TV vet tells this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine that he wants to have kids soon.

‘I would still like to have kids – I still feel that’s very much a priority… I feel like it will happen when it happens’ he said.

‘In a perfect world I’d have liked to have had kids, but it’s just not the way it’s worked out. I feel that the right girl will be there at the right time’ he added.

Chris said that he doesn’t want to rush into a relationship that isn’t right but he definitely has babies on the brain.

‘Maybe my biological clock is ticking harder. I don’t know’ he said.

Chris split with longtime girlfriend Liv Phyland in 2019 and was last linked to stunning Sydney model Brooke Meredith from 2020 until 2022 – although they were rarely seen together – and they are believed to have broken up late in 2022.

In 2023 he was linked to The Project’s Sarah Harris and KISS FM’s Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, but both women have denied they dated the vet.

The Bondi Vet star says his fans will never see him take a love interest out on a romantic evening until things get serious.

‘It’s hard enough to meet the right person anyway, but that extra layer of that speculation and that interest… Once you’re actually in a relationship, it’s easy.

‘But it’s actually meeting that person at the start that’s really hard, because you could potentially be on your first date, and you get photographed,’ he said.

‘And then there’s a search for who this person is, what her backstory is, and then all of a sudden, it becomes something that it may not be that stage’ he added.

The television host explained that his dating life is kept shrouded until the romance develops enough to survive the outside speculation.

It comes after Chris made made the shock network jump from Channel Ten to Channel Seven in July last year.

Brown signed a two-year contract with Seven worth more than $1million a year, following his contractual obligations for I’m A Celebrity at his former network.

Dream Home is based on the successful New Zealand series of the same name which aired from 1999 to 2013.
