Thomas won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seattle Seahawks as part of their famous ‘Legion of Boom’ secondary.

While in the NFL from 2010-19, he was a seven-time Pro Bowler and a three-time All-Pro team selection.

According to Nola.com, Thompson used a forged drivers license which had his own photo but Thomas’s information to make a fake bank account and to transfer the titles of cars to himself.

This included one for a Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV – which he was driving to the bank on the day he was arrested. Police reports don’t explain how he acquired ‘physical possession’ of these cars.

Jefferson Parish police say that Thomas’s credit union back in his native Texas detected suspicious activity at a bank in Louisiana. They then notified authorities that Thomas had not opened an account with the New Orleans-based bank Jefferson Financial.

Thompson was arrested a second time when he tried getting the Rolls-Royce with a different vehicle that had been reported stolen. He is free on $730,000 bond.

Thomas and his ex-wife got a divorce in 2020. Both of them were involved in an incident on Christmas Eve where they both brandished weapons in a parking lot.

Nina has accused Earl of infidelity and he has been ordered to stay at least 400 feet away from her.
