Miriam Margolyes has paid tribute to Matthew Perry with a hilarious X-rated clip after the Friends actor’s sudden passing aged 54.

The famously outspoken actress, 82, shared a resurfaced interview from The Graham Norton Show in 2016 with Perry and actress Gemma Arterton.

The world has been left shocked by Perry’s untimely death over the weekend after he was found in his LA home, with many rushing to pay their respects to the beloved actor.

Among those to pay tribute to the personality behind Chandler Bing was Harry Potter actress Margolyes.

Sharing a clip of them together, she wrote: ‘RIP Matthew Perry. You will be missed by so many. A great man,’ adding a broken-hearted emoji.

Shock: Perry showed his typically dry sense of humour – embodied in his Friends character Chandler Bing – in his horrified reaction on the Graham Norton show

Raunchy story: Miriam Margolyes has paid tribute to Matthew Perry with a hilarious X-rated clip after the Friends actor’s sudden passing aged 54

The video showed Perry’s typically sarcastic and dry sense of humour as he listened to Margolyes recount a very X-rated story.

The brazen actress recalled a time when she met actor and heartthrob Laurence Olivier and waited outside the stage door.

Sparing no details, she said: ‘He came out, and I remember so distinctly that I started to cream in my knickers.’

A horrified Matthew Perry beside her – who up until that point had been politely listening to the story – froze in horror at the explicit tale.

The others, including Norton and the rest of the studio audience, burst into fits of laughter at the admission – but Perry did not join in and looked on in shock.

Margolyes shamelessly continued: ‘I could feel it! I went all funny. It’s true!’

She looked around for reassurance from her other interviewees, as Gemma backed her up, quipping: ‘I know exactly what you mean!’

But poor Perry to her left did not seem to get over the shock of what he’d heard, shaking his head in disbelief at the bold confession.

Hard to hear: When he was finally able to speak, Perry said: ‘I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been more uncomfortable in my life’

Unfazed: The famously outspoken actress, 82, continued to recount the details of her encounter with Laurence Olivier

Admission: Margolyes said she ‘started to cream in her knickers’ when she met the actor at the stage door

Reaction: Graham Norton and the studio audience burst into fits of laughter while Perry froze in horror

‘I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been more uncomfortable in my life!’ he managed to say as those around him continued to roar with laughter.

Later on she stunned the actor once again when she revealed she’d never seen an episode of Friends.

But despite the humour of the clip, Marygolyes also revealed a hidden regret over the appearance.

In her memoir she admitted she asked Perry if he was an alcoholic during their time together on the show. She shared: ‘On reflection, I really wish I hadn’t.’

The historically troubled star was found dead in his hot tub on Saturday afternoon of a suspected drowning, though the LA County coroner’s office currently list’s the case status of the actor’s death as ‘open.’ An autopsy has been scheduled.

Late Saturday night, Perry’s body was stretchered into a coroner’s van from the front door of his LA home.

Staff from the LA County Medical Examiner’s Office loaded Perry’s body into the van before closing its doors and driving off.

Perry is believed to have drowned hours after a game of pickleball, and in a redacted recording of the dispatch audio a man can be heard saying ‘rescue 23’, and ‘drowning’.

A law enforcement mole told TMZ that investigators had discovered prescription anti-depressants and anti-anxiety pills at Perry’s luxurious home, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean – but that no illegal drugs were found inside.

The actor, famous for playing Chandler Bing in Friends, was also in possession of a prescription COPD drug.

COPD stands for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, with the meds found at Perry’s home usually used for people with emphysema or chronic bronchitis.

Perry was a smoker and had also battled an addiction to alcohol as well as opiates, but claimed to have been clean shortly before his suspected drowning death.

The fresh revelations came after it was reported that EMTs were called to the home of the Friends star for a ‘water emergency’ and arrived to discover the actor had drowned, it is claimed.

Police sources told NBC News and CNN that they’d initially believed they were attending a possible ‘water rescue’ at the funnyman’s Pacific Palisades home after being called at 4:07pm PST Saturday.

They arrived to find the 54-year-old dead of an apparent drowning in his hot tub, with the LA Times reporting that Perry was ‘unresponsive.’

Officers from the LA Police Department’s robbery-homicide division were also sent to the home in Pacific Palisades, but a source said no drugs or signs of foul play were found at the scene.
