BBC star Jeremy Vine was left speechless after a cyclist caught a van driver ‘masturbating and watching porn’ while driving through central London.

The avid cyclist and broadcaster, who has been filming and exposing his own battles with motorists in London for several years, told : ‘This breaks some sort of record. I have no words.’

Sharing the footage, the 58-year-old later tweeted: ‘Masturbating at the wheel of a vehicle while watching porn. This is extreme even for Cannon Street.’

Shocking video shows the motorist going on his phone while driving past Cannon Street station in the City of London as dozens of pedestrians try to cross the road.

At the start of the clip, the cyclist approaches the van from the passenger side of the vehicle and starts to film the driver on his phone. He says: ‘Another one, really?’

The cyclist then approaches the van from the driver’s side where the man can be seen watching something on his phone.

The motorist, who is driving a Custom Intelligent Security van, proceeds to drive off past Bank station while watching the footage as pedestrians, cyclists and other vehicles surround him during rush hour.

When the van comes to a stop at the traffic lights, the cyclist then launches into an expletive rant as he gets a clearer view of what the man is watching on his screen.

‘F****** porn,’ he shouts. ‘Driving around watching porn. You’re f****** kidding me.’

As the van driver remains oblivious to the fact he is being filmed, the cyclist points out that he appears to be masturbating as well.

The footage ends with the cyclist laughing hysterically in disbelief as they go separate ways at a busy junction.

The video has since gone viral and several social media users joined Mr Vine in blasting the driver for his actions.

Several social media users, including Jeremy Vine, reacted to the video after it went viral

One user said: ‘I’m speechless, I hope this goes to court. Please tell me you reported that.’

A second posted: ‘Horrific, breaks so many laws and moral codes.’

A third wrote: ‘That is….I’m lost for words! I hope you get to share with the magistrates!’

Another tweeted: ‘Just when you think you’ve seen it all.’

And a fifth simply said: ‘Absolute mental.’

Mr Vine has had several run-ins of his own with drivers in recent years. Earlier this week, he posted a video from his helmet camera in which he claimed he was almost ‘kebabed’ by a van turning into his path on Tavistock Place, near Euston station.

The Radio 2 DJ, who has almost 800,000 followers on Twitter, also shared footage of a near collision in September when a large white van almost backed over him until he banged on the door.

has contacted Custom Intelligent Security for comment on whether they are aware of the footage of what appears to be one of their drivers.

Custom Intelligent Security describes itself as company which helps clients to ‘identify their security threats, such as loss-reduction, risk mitigation, and data protection (GDPR).’
