Bud Daley, a two-time World Series winner with the New York Yankees, has died at age 92.
Daley was a part of the successful title-winning Yankees team in 1961 and 1962.
The team said in a statement on Saturday: ‘The Yankees mourn the passing of Bud Daley and extend our deepest condolences to Bud’s family, friends and loved ones.’
Daley turned 92 on October 7 and passed away on October 15, eight days after his birthday.
He leaves behind his wife Dorothy, who he was married to for 72 years, their four children and eight grandchildren.

Daley’s 10-year career in baseball as a pitcher saw him play for the Cleveland Indians and Kansas City Athletics before joining the Yankees.
As well as being a two-time World Series winner, Daley was also a four-time All-Star.
His Yankees team are in action on Saturday night, playing Cleveland Guardians for a place in the World Series.
They lead the series 3-1 ahead of Game 5 in Cleveland. The winner of the series will face either the Los Angeles Dodgers or New York Mets.
