One Direction popstar Liam Payne died last night at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
Argentine police were called to the Casa Sur Hotel in the nation’s capital to reports Payne had been acting erratically before he fell into a courtyard from the third floor.
Payne found stardom after forming One Direction with Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik , Louis Tomlinson in 2010 when the then teenagers met through ITV talent show The X-Factor. He later embarked on a solo career after the group split in 2016.
He arrived in Argentina earlier this month alongside his girlfriend Kate Cassidy to watch ex-bandmate Niall Horan in concert and stayed on in the country when Ms Cassidy left two days ago.
