Former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah will be getting out of prison earlier than expected… for a second time.

The 51-year-old reality star pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in July 2022, and she was sentenced to six and a half years in prison in January 2023.

Just two months later in March 2023, it was revealed her release was moved up a full year, scheduled for August 30, 2028.

Now her release has been pushed up by more than eight months, from August 30, 2028 to December 19, 2027, according to Page Six.

Shah is currently serving her sentence at Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, where, earlier this year she was spotted with fellow fraudster Elizabeth Holmes.

Shah was charged in March 2021 with conspiracy to commit money laundering and wire fraud for her involvement in a telemarketing scheme that defrauded elderly and other vulnerable people.

She insisted she was innocent of these charges in March 2022 during the Season 2 reunion special.

‘I’m fighting this. I am innocent. And I will fight for every person out there that can’t fight for themselves because they don’t have the resources or the means, so they don’t fight,’ she said.

She continued, ‘I will fight because No. 1, I’m innocent and No. 2, I’m going to f—king represent every other person out there that can’t fight and hasn’t been able to.’

Her former assistant and accomplice Stuart Smith changed his plea to guilty in November 2021, and Shah followed, changing her plea to guilty in July 2022.

Shah reported to serve her prison sentence in February 2023, and ordered to pay a whopping $6.5 million in restitution.

The sentence was reduced in March 2023, with her rep revealing that Shah was committed to paying back her victims.

‘I have spoken with my client Jen Shah over the phone this week — she is doing well and remains committed towards making her victims whole,’ she said.

‘She has initiated her payments towards restitution, and we hope to have her home as soon as possible so that she may resume life with her family and work, putting this chapter of her life behind her,’ the rep added.

It was reported in June 2023 that she has completed an anger management course while she was in prison.

‘Through journaling, homework, audio lessons and the two hour weekly group sessions/class, I learned more about what anger is, where it comes from, and healthy ways to respond and react that are safe and beneficial,” she told us via her rep.

Shah said, ‘challenging unhelpful beliefs’ was one of the most important tactics she studied to create alternative outcomes from high-stress situations.
