Basketball star RJ Hampton has been slammed after shocking footage emerged of him verbally abusing his ex-girlfriend, with the former NBA guard also accused of physically assaulting her.
Hampton, a first-round draft pick in 2020, was filmed by influencer Tiffany Jeffcoat in a clip posted to her 1.5million TikTok followers on Monday night. She claimed to have traveled 11 hours to see him with their young son, Halo.
The former couple can be seen arguing in a hotel while Halo plays nearby. ‘Shut the f*** up talking to me, b****,’ Hampton is heard saying. ‘I don’t care if you have me on recording, I could care less.’
Jeffcoat later claims she has evidence of Hampton ‘laying hands on her before’, insisting: ‘I have pictures of it’
‘Get the f*** out of here with that s***,’ Hampton, who now plays for the 76ers’ G-League affiliates the Delaware Blue Coats, responds.

‘Who the f*** is going to care about that… they’re bruises.’ The 23-year-old then points to his shoulders. ‘But they came from your hands!’ Jeffcoat claims, to which Hampton appears to reply: ‘Of course they didn’t… did I punch you? did I slap you? So shut the f*** up.’
The guard’s comments left his ex-partner stunned. ‘Just because you didn’t punch me doesn’t mean that’s ok. Wow…’
Later in the clip, Hampton takes aim at Jeffcoat’s mother, insisting: ‘I don’t care if your mom is dead or alive, shut up.’
In another clip, a crying Jeffcoat claims she has been left ‘stranded’ in Oklahoma. She even called the police after Hampton – once of the Nuggets, Magic, Pistons, 76ers and Heat – took their son.
‘RJ literally snapped Halo off the ground, walked out, hopped in the car and left, didn’t tell me where they were going, didn’t tell me when they were back, didn’t take any of his stuff,’ she said.

‘He’s not allowed to do this. I got up at 5am, took a 13-month old on the plane. I just had to get off the phone with the police and I had to describe what my 13-month-old was wearing.
‘He didn’t make sure he had a pacifier, his lovie blankets or anything. He doesn’t know what time he last ate, he last slept. He’s never had him for more than like 30 minutes. This just shows how little he cares about his child. So now I’m waiting for police to get here.’
She added: ‘I’ve never in my life experienced anything like this and I pray that nobody else has to. All I have to say is: be careful who you have a baby with’
The clip has flooded social media, with many users left shocked by Hampton’s behavior.
‘RJ Hampton is sick,’ one wrote. ‘The way he’s talking to his child’s mom is nasty.’
