A new New York Times poll was just released Tuesday, showing Kamala Harris taking the lead over Donald Trump nationwide for the first time since July after President Joe Biden spectacularly dropped out of the race.
Meanwhile, the VP is embroiled in a political back-and-forth with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as devastating Hurricane Milton approaches the state.
They are accusing each other of ignoring each other’s phone calls as the ‘extremely dangerous’ storm gets closer to making landfall.
‘You know, moments of crisis, if nothing else, should really be the moment that anyone who calls themselves a leader says they’re gonna put politics aside and put the people first,’ Harris said.
DeSantis fired back that he never got Harris’ call and therefore couldn’t have ignored it.
With only 28 days left until Election Day, the political climate is getting hotter and both Harris and Donald Trump are hitting the trail and the media circuit to win over swing state voters. President Joe Biden is headed to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania today.
