Edwina Bartholomew was enjoying a weekend outing with her two young children this weekend.

The 40-year-old stepped out in Sydney’s inner west with her daughter Molly, four, and son Tom, two, who she shared with her husband Neil Varcoe,

The TV presenter dressed casually in denim maxi dress that clung close to her figure and included splits down the sides.

She strapped on a black leather designer crossbody bag and had on a pair of strappy sandals.

Edwina appeared to be wearing minimal makeup for her relaxing jaunt and pulled her caramel locks off her face.

The Sunrise star held hands with her little ones, who got their hands on some balloons during the outing.

It comes after Edwina confessed that she and her husband Neil, who she married in 2018, have undergone what she calls an ‘extreme sleep divorce’.

The pair have been living in separate homes since last year – but the star insists it works for them, and before they split up their homes, the pair had not shared a bedroom in a decade.

‘We have been sleeping in separate rooms for about 10 years, long before we were married and long before we had kids,’ she told a previous issue of Stellar.

Edwina added that at first she ‘hated the idea’ of separate bedrooms but soon realised it worked best for the pair of them.

Last year, she entered into a long-distance relationship with her husband as he moved out of the family home to become a farmer.

‘My husband lives in the country with the dog and I live in the city with the kids. Each weekend, we traipse back and forth between the two or meet somewhere in the middle’ the television star explained.

‘It feels like a Love Actually airport reunion every time we come together with a slow-motion embrace and those newlywed feels’.

The couple recently sold their Dulwich Hill home for an estimated $2million in Marc.

Edwina recently revealed how motherhood has profoundly reshaped her relationship with her body, providing a fresh perspective on self-acceptance.

Speaking to Prevention magazine, Edwina opened up about letting go of societal expectations after experiencing two pregnancies.

‘It sounds clichéd, but I’m completely in awe of what my body has achieved in the past few years in terms of having two babies,’ Bartholomew told the magazine.

'We have been sleeping in separate rooms for about 10 years, long before we were married and long before we had kids,' she told a previous issue of Stellar

The TV star also highlighted the importance of being mindful of the messages she sends to her daughter about body positivity and self-identity.

‘I’m so conscious of the message I send to my daughter about being proud of her body and having her own identity,’ she explained.

‘Like, she leaves the house in the craziest outfits. She’s at that age where you just have no comprehension of anyone else’s opinion of you, which is so wonderful. I’ve learnt so much from that, and I want to give so much of that back to her.’

Edwina stressed the importance of being aware of her own language and behaviour regarding body image, as it directly impacts her children.
