A trampoline park in Salford has been forced to shut down after a ‘medical emergency involving a child’.

Bounce Central in the Pendlebury area was closed this afternoon as emergency crews raced to the scene. 

An eyewitness reported seeing an air ambulance landing nearby.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers have responded to reports of a medical emergency involving a child. 

No further details have been released at this stage, though there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

According to Manchester Evening News, police and paramedics have now left the scene and the park will remain closed for the rest of the day.  

In a post on Facebook, Bounce Central said: ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bounce Central Salford will be closed for the rest of today (Thursday 29th August).

‘Please contact us if you have pre booked for this afternoon and we will be happy to rearrange your session.’
