Others wrote: ‘I’m deeply sorry for your great loss’… ‘The hardest part of having a pet. My condolences Ozzy!’

‘The only bad thing about sharing your life with a dog is they dont live as long as we do. He will walk by your side forever.’

Ozzy’s band Black Sabbath also posted a photo of him and Rocky together on their official Facebook page to mark the dog’s passing.

The singer has been lately requiring a cane to help him walk due to symptoms of his Parkinson’s disease, as well as the medications used to treat it.

Ozzy was diagnosed in early 2019, but it wasn’t until nearly a year later in January of 2020 that he shared his diagnosis with his fans.

After sharing the news, Ozzy had to cancel his 2020 tour, and he subsequently canceled a comeback performance at the Power Trip festival last year after he required surgery for a fall.

But Sharon has remained optimistic that he will perform again, if only to say goodbye.

The talk show host confirmed that her husband would perform two farewell concerts to be held in Birmingham, England.

The musician and his wife Sharon have lately been making some dramatic revelations about their tumultuous marriage of more than 40 years.

Sharon admitted last week on stage with her friend Jane Moore in her Cut The C**p show that she attempted to overdose after learning of Ozzy’s infidelity with a hairdresser, which lasted from 2012 to 2016.

And following that shocking admission, Ozzy opened up on their relationship on The Osbourne’s Podcast.

‘Sharon is like my soulmate, sometimes I love her, sometimes I don’t love her, sometimes I’m angry with her, sometimes I’m crazy about her, sometimes I’m very jealous of her, sometimes I wanna f****** kill her,’ he said — while she sat with him in the studio.

‘But through it all, at the end of the day, I love her more than anything in the world,’ he continued.

‘Put it this way, I couldn’t live without her, I don’t wanna live without her. And my love for her now is bigger than it ever has been.’

Sharon added: ‘Ditto’.

Speaking on stage with her friend Jane Moore in her Cut The C**p show, Sharon revealed: ‘He always, always had groupies and I was so used to that.

‘But when he knows the name of the person, where they live and where they work… it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested. I took, I don’t know how many pills.

‘I just thought “My kids are older, they are fine and can take care of themselves”. So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom. The maid tried to come in to clean the room and saw me.’

At the time of Sharon discovering Ozzy’s wrongdoings, Sharon confirmed she’d split from the Black Sabbath rocker, whom she married in 1982, on her chat show The Talk in 2016 when she thanked her fans for their support.

She said: ‘I’m 63 years of age, and I can’t keep living like this… I’ve been avoiding looking at any pictures or reading anything. I know what’s going on.

‘I don’t need to read about or see about it. It’s like putting salt in a wound. I don’t need to… He’s back, and now I’m out of the house.’

In 2019, Ozzy praised Sharon as a ‘god’ for taking him back after his affair.

In an interview with The Sun newspaper, he said: ‘Sharon and I have never been as close as we are now. It’s great. Sharon has been a god.

He said: ‘We all make mistakes. I’m lucky she took me back. Sometimes I sit there and go, ‘What the f*** was I thinking?’ I won’t understand why it happened until the day I die.’
