This Washington State camping site has been deemed one of the greatest places in the world this year as it provides the perfect oasis of forest and sea.

Snow Peak Long Beach Campfield is a 25-acre luxury campground in Long Beach that takes glamping to a whole new level and it has been named one of the ‘World’s Greatest Places of 2024’ by Time Magazine.

The campsite was designed by Snow Peak, a Japanese outdoor brand, and uses the brand’s high-quality gear to provide a luxurious experience without skimping on the hotel amenities.

Snow Peak Long Beach Campfield is right off the Pacific Ocean and is a drivable distance from Portland and Seattle.

The campsite is nestled between a chilly beach and a thick forest, according to Time.

Although those camping out at the site won’t want to even dip their toes in the chilly water, which rarely reaches above 70 degrees, they’ll be surrounded by a beautiful forest that leaks tranquility and blissful silence.

Campers can enjoy hiking, whale-watching, kayaking, and crabbing while there.

However, it wouldn’t be glamping if there wasn’t manmade fun and leisure. After a long day of enjoying the great outdoors, customers can slip into a Japanese-style Ofuro Spa or stay in one of the 14 climate-controlled Jyubako micro-cabins, which were designed by Kengo Kuma, according to Time.

Campers can also stay in one of the 48 field sites or the eight tent suites, which include a mini kitchen and dining table.

While there, visitors can also enjoy wine tastings, live music, and bike excursions, according to KOMO News.

Snow Peak made the list among other more traditionally exotic places, such as the White Desert in Antarctica and Angama Amboseli, a crucial wildlife corridor in Kenya.

However, for those who prefer a more traditional place to visit, Vermelho Hotel in Portugal and San Ranch in also made the list.

Even Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas ship made the cut.
