US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau has teased a new YouTube video with Donald Trump after playing a round of golf with the former US President.

DeChambeau, who won the US Open for a second time last month, shared a clip on Instagram of himself and Trump posing on the golf course with their arms crossed.

‘It’s time for @realdonaldtrump to show YouTube what he’s got,’ the caption reads.

Trump is set to feature on DeChambeau’s popular ‘Break 50’ YouTube series, in which the golf star attempts to play nine holes in less than 50 strokes from the red tees – the furthest-forward tees on each hole – alongside a high-profile guest.

And his latest partner can hardly be any more high profile, with Trump currently in pole position to be reelected as President later this year.

However, DeChambeau was quick to stress on social media that his link-up with the 78-year-old was by no means a political statement. Instead, for every stroke they score under par both he and Trump agreed to donate $10,000 to a charity which supports US veterans and active duty service members.

‘To be clear, this is about golf and giving back to our nation’s veterans, not politics,’ DeChambeau wrote on X.

‘A few weeks ago I reached out to both parties’ presidential campaigns and @realDonaldTrump was down for the challenge.

‘It is an incredible honor to be able to enjoy a round of golf with any sitting or former president, and all have an open invitation to join me for a round of Break 50 anytime.’

After he pipped Rory McIlroy on a dramatic final day at the US Open, DeChambeau was seen celebrating his second major triumph with the Trump family at their Westchester National Golf Club.

While he wasn’t there himself, Trump also sent a congratulatory video message to the newly-crowned champion, which was played on a TV at the party.

‘You have it all, you have the long ball and everything else,’ the ex-President said in a short video shared to Instagram by his attorney, Alina Habba.

DeChambeau was greeted by Trump’s son Eric at the club, and the celebrations soon appeared to take a more boozy turn.

At one stage Eric held the US Open trophy while Bryson poured red wine into it. With a crowd watching on, he then called out: ‘Now that’s a full trophy, ladies and gentleman.’

Trump has received a major boost in his bid to be named President for a second time after direct rival Joe Biden announced Sunday that he is dropping out of the election race.

Before the 81-year-old came to that decision, DeChambeau recently offered to help take Biden’s Presidential battle with Trump from the podium to the tee box after they trailed off into golf handicap trash talk at last month’s live TV debate.

The debate teetered off the rails as the two elderly candidates traded jabs about each other’s golf games after they answered questions from CNN moderator Dana Bash about concerns voters have expressed about their age.

Their bickering descended into Trump and Biden engaging in a standoff over their handicaps.

Following the bizarre exchange of barbs, DeChambeau offered a solution to settle the debate – golfing, not Presidential – once and for all.

‘Let’s settle this whole handicap debate, I’ll host the golf match on my YouTube @realDonaldTrump @JoeBiden,’ the LIV Golf player posted to X.
