Georgia Kousoulou has claimed she ‘manifested’ a baby girl by wearing ‘pink and purple’ to every scan, on Thursday.

The former TOWIE star, 32, who shares son Brody, two, with her fiancé Tommy Mallet, 31, announced last week they are expecting a baby girl through IVF treatment – one year after she suffered a devastating miscarriage.

Georgia was completely overjoyed during their gender reveal after years of wishing for her next baby to be a girl.

In a Q&A with her Instagram fans, Georgia admitted that deep down she always knew the gender.

She wrote: ‘I really believed it was a girl before I knew I was even pregnant. I have always said I’m meant to have a girl after Brody.

‘Also I did wear my pink and purple @ctrne_world to every scan [laughing face emoji]. I will talk about this more but I never wore nothing else the whole time.’

Georgia decided to go down the IVF route after she was struggling to get pregnant due to the ‘shock’ and ‘trauma’ her body went through.

The TV personality also described the anxiety she is suffering day-to-day and admitted she won’t be able to relax until her baby girl is in her arms safe.

Georgia said: ‘I’ve had a few cramps lately and it scared me. I think I will always be anxious until I’m holding her in my arms.

‘I think it’s all very normal so I’m allowing myself to go with the emotions and to try and enjoy it.’

Speaking about her choice to have IVF treatment, Georgia said: ‘Ok so many of these [questions]… So my first two pregnancy’s were natural and happened very fast.

‘After I had the operation last year, when I lost my baby, my body didn’t recover for ages. I then went into trauma/ shock and my body just wouldn’t fall pregnant… the stress of it was a lot for me and my family.

‘After therapy I realised I wanted to take control back and I needed a little help. I then met my consultant and I knew it felt right, my body took to IVF so well. I’m so proud of my body.

‘Sometimes we can’t explain why things happen but maybe this was always in my plan… I’m so thankful I took the step to do IVF and I’m so thankful it worked.’

Taking to Instagram to announce her pregnancy, the former TOWIE wrote alongside the new video: ‘Our little rainbow baby due December. Words can’t express the emotions we have, we have prayed, wished & with a little help it’s happened..

‘I can’t thank my team enough. Rehan Salim you are the best IVF specialist – I’m so blessed we met you & Michelle my amazing nurse who helped me every step of the way!

‘These guys made my experience with IVF so much better than I could of [sic] even imagined.

‘I was so scared as all the things I had heard beforehand but they were simply the best & held my hand the whole way through. Thank you for giving us the best gift of all.

‘To anyone watching who is suffering… I am with you & I know how you feel. I pray this post doesn’t trigger you. I know how hard it is seeing announcements.

Please know you are not alone & please don’t give up hope.’

The star, who shares son Brody with husband Tommy, had started having therapy after struggling with emotional triggers and feeling ‘drained’ by grief.

And Georgia’s sadness was brought back to the surface as she reflected on her trauma while writing new book I Wish I Knew, where she speaks openly about the heartache of baby loss.

After almost a year since since the nightmare, Georgia says she’s ‘distracted’ by ‘dream child’ Brody but often experiences negative thoughts, especially when she’s on social media.

But she wants to try to have four children with Tommy, who she married in a surprise ceremony last year, as she’s always visualised having a big family, like it was when she grew up with two siblings.

She said: ‘I don’t think you ever get over the feeling. I have just started therapy, I’m much better, luckily for me I have Brody who’s the love of my life, he’s a dream child and keeps me distracted – but there are still triggers. The problem with baby loss is there are triggers everywhere.

‘All my Instagram is either babies or weddings. The hardest thing I have learned is that it’s okay to feel sad but happy for other people. I really struggled with that… I thought I was a bad person.

‘The aftermath is draining, it is hard. Hopefully one day I will be pregnant again and maybe that will make me feel better, but I don’t know.

‘I really want a big family; I see us having three or four children. When you’re old, you look at your table and it’s full of people, that’s what it comes down to.’
