During their radio appearance, they played ‘Home Truths’ where they were invited to divulge secrets they had kept from each other.

She said: ‘My home truth is that when we are doing our podcast together, especially the audio book, your heavy breathing just gave me ick.’
Able to take the confession, Pete replied: ‘That time you wanted to go to the antique fair. I got my manager to email me saying “I had to work”.
‘I showed you that email, I did get out of the antique fair early. I went and played golf.’
Abbey was shocked and said: ‘Are you joking? That’s one of our favourite days to do. We get a hot dog, a hot chocolate. It’s the best….’

Trying to get one up on him, Abbey told Pete: ‘Okay, well, you know that secret holiday you’ve booked for me? I know where it is.

‘And it’s literally… I would rather die than go there. We cannot say where it is and my daughter had to say, “Mum, you need to stop going on about this location because that’s where you’re going” and I’m just telling you now…. I know.’
Pete then told her he purposefully pretended to not hear her banging on the windows as he found it amusing she was locked out of the house and left her outside for an hour and a half.
He told her: ‘We could hear you. And we found it incredibly funny that you were getting so angry and we could see you kind of walking around the back.
‘She was out there for like an hour and a half.’
Abbey retorted: ‘What’s not funny? My next home truth… and that is you know when you tweet something and then look at it for about two hours and say “Oh babe look at this comment”. Just saying “Look how funny they think I am”… it’s not funny, hun.’
Peter said: ‘Okay, I think I’ve had enough.’
