Zoe Kravitz blithely took a jab at the Sex and the City spin-off The Carrie Diaries – even though Austin Butler, one of the stars of the show, was right in front of her.
Austin and Zoe have been busily promoting their new movie Caught Stealing and have been igniting a blaze of romance rumors with their flirty interactions during the publicity rounds – even though she was also recently seen ‘kissing’ Harry Styles.
Their latest stop was a joint interview in which they answered questions while hooked up to a polygraph for Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test.
During the exchange Austin, 34, asked Zoe, 36, asked which of the two Sex and the City spin-offs was ‘better,’ And Just Like That… or The Carrie Diaries.
‘Neither,’ replied the daughter of Lenny Kravitz, and when Austin asked her to elaborate she pointedly said: ‘Leave that show alone. Everybody just stop.’
Austin then threw aside two pieces of paper he revealed were ‘pictures of me,’ to which a mortified Zoe asked: ‘Oh no! Are you on that show?’

‘Yeah, I was in The Carrie Diaries,’ said Austin, who had featured on the show as Sebastian, a love-interest of the title character.
Zoe sheepishly apologized and insisted she had no idea he had been on the series – a claim that the polygraph indicated was truthful.

This Tuesday, Austin and Zoe continued to fuel romance rumors with a flirty exchange at the New York premiere of Caught Stealing.
Attending the premiere at the Regal Union Square, Austin placed a hand upon Zoe’s bare waist as he leaned down to chat with her.
Zoe placed a friendly hand on his arm and cast a smile at him, her sculpted abs on full display in quite the smoldering ensemble.
She worked a black long-sleeve crop top and long flowing skirt with her hair styled into long, loose waves.
Austin was looking debonair in a black leather suit consisting of a jacket, matching trousers, and complete with sunglasses.
The pair have been at the center of romance rumors for some time, and last week they sent the speculation into overdrive as they put on a flirty display at a Paris bar, with an insider telling the Daily Mail the duo have ‘chemistry’.

‘It’s not quite a fully fledged romance but Austin hasn’t been friend-zoned either,’ the source said.
Just days later, however, Zoe was also seen enjoying a romantic stroll with Harry Styles in Rome, with the duo shown linking arms in video captured by a fan.
Austin and Zoe are both fresh out of high-profile romances with Kaia Gerber and Channing Tatum respectively, and a source told The Sun in April that the duo have been ‘getting on very well’.
They told the publication: ‘Their chemistry is as good off-screen as it is on it. Austin and Zoe have been keeping it under the radar and aren’t putting a label on anything yet.’

As for Zoe, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz released her directorial debut film Blink Twice in late August after years of working in front of the camera.
Her acting credits include starring in HBO’s mini-series Big Little Lies, Hulu’s now-canceled show High Fidelity and The Batman (2022) with Robert Pattinson and Colin Farrell.
Caught Stealing will be released on August 29.
