alert-–-youtuber,-32,-who-filmed-himself-speeding-at-150mph-from-colorado-springs-to-denver-is-arrested-after-two-months-on-the-runAlert – YouTuber, 32, who filmed himself speeding at 150mph from Colorado Springs to Denver is arrested after TWO MONTHS on the run

A motorcycle-riding YouTuber was arrested after a video of him driving at speeds exceeding 150mph on a Colorado road went viral online.

Rendon Dietzmann, 32, who goes by the online username Gixxer Brah has cultivated a following of 250,000 people by taking women on reckless motorcycle dates and posting the footage of their rides online.

The videos often show Dietzmann speeding through small gaps in traffic, between lanes and on shoulders.

Dietzmann, from Texas, was identified through an investigation coordinated with the Dallas Police Department and El Paso County District Attorney’s Office after posting a video of him driving at 150mph on Interstate 25 between Colorado Springs and Denver – about 70 miles apart.

After an arrest warrant for  suspicion of reckless endangerment was issued, he was taken into custody in his native Texas on an assault charge Tuesday.

Dietzmann was booked into a county jail on Wednesday, according to county records. However, online court records also note Dietzmann was detained Wednesday on a warrant related to his speeding charges.

Denton County Sheriff’s spokesperson Orlando Hinojosa said he did not have any further details on the arrest, according to the Denver Post.

In Colorado, Dietzmann was also wanted for engaging in a speed contest, speeding more than 40 mph over the limit, engaging in an exhibition of speed and driving without license plates attached.

State officials alleged Dietzmann’s stunts put ‘several hundred people in jeopardy.’

The since-deleted YouTube video, entitled ‘From Colorado Springs to Denver in 20 Minutes,’ was posted to Dietzmann’s channel in September.

The drive typically takes about an hour on Interstate 25, which has a speed limit of 65 MPH or 75 MPH, depending on the location.

An arrest warrant was issued on December 5, with Colorado Police reissuing their case in a press release two weeks ago.

‘Illegal and reckless driving behavior will not be tolerated in Colorado,’ spokesperson Sgt. Troy Kessler said in a statement.

‘We care too much for those traveling on our roadways to ignore the blatant disregard for the safety of others’ he said.

Adding: ‘If you drive like this, you can expect to be arrested when you are located.

‘This is the best outcome for a person who drives violently since the smallest mistake could result in his death or that of an innocent person in the area.

‘We simply have ‘NO TOLERANCE’ towards someone who so blatantly disregards the well-being of the community.’

Dietzman’s YouTube channel remains active online with numerous other videos that showcase his speeding.

On his Instagram account, shortly after state patrol sent out a press release about the criminal case, Dietzmann shared postings about his current arrest warrant, 9 News reported.
