The discovery of a young woman’s body on a bushland track has led to the arrests of two men in Ballarat.
The body of the 23-year-old woman from Clunes was discovered near State Forests Rd in Scarsdale, south of Ballarat, on Friday.
The identity of the person who discovered her body and the exact timing of the discovery remains unknown.
Victoria Police have since arrested two men, aged 21 and 22, both from Sebastopol.
They are assisting police with enquiries and investigations are ongoing. No charges have been laid.
Two crime scenes have been established at a Sebastopol home and State Forests Rd.

It’s the latest tragedy to rock Ballarat following the alleged murder of Samantha Murphy.
Police arrested the mother’s alleged murderer, 22-year-old Patrick Stephenson, last month but have seemingly made little progress in the search for her remains.
Ms Murphy disappeared while on a morning jog on February 4.
