A five-year-old girl has died after a two-vehicle crash at an intersection near Toowoomba.
The child was a passenger in a gold Subaru Outback which smashed into a blue Ford Ranger at Drayton Connection Road and Luck Road in Vale View about 11.40am on Saturday.
Emergency services rushed her to Toowoomba Base Hospital at the time, but she later succumbed to her injuries.
The 64-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Subaru and a second child occupant were also transported to hospital.
The 19-year-old man driving the Ford also attended hospital as a precaution.
His two 18-year-old passengers were uninjured.
Police are investigating the accident.
