‘You know, my social media people tell me that you like me face-to-face, but you know what, I can’t say face-to-face what I want,’ the bearded actor said to the camera with airport noises in the background. ‘Like, I just got kicked off a plane.’
Not realizing which airport he was in, the Among Wolves actor asked: ‘Where the hell am I at?
Forrie J. Smith, 65, said he was forced off a flight in Houston Saturday
A woman off-camera answered Houston.
‘Houston, Texas,’ he repeated, and then continuing his assertion that he was forced of the flight ‘because I didn’t feel comfortable sitting next somebody with a mask on.’ He did not say which airline he was attempting to fly.
The Oak & Eden Whiskey collaborator, who seemed to be slightly slurring his words admitted, ‘yeah, I been drinkin’.’
‘I’ve been sittin’ in the airport for three hours, yeah, I’ve been drinkin’, but I ain’t drunk, but they throwed me off the plane cause I’m drunk.’
He then seemed to blame the public saying, ‘because you people won’t stand up and tell everybody what bulls**t this is.’
‘I just told them I didn’t feel comfortable about sitting next to somebody that had to wear a mask,’ he said, ‘And I’m off the plane.’
In the video, he wore a billed camo cap on his head with a black and white checked shirt and a forest green jacket.

The actor said he was told to leave the airplane ‘because I didn’t feel comfortable sitting next somebody with a mask on.’
Fans who saw the video were not very understanding about his stance against the mask.
‘For the life of me I cannot fathom why someone else wearing a mask is so threatening to some people!!! Many people live with a loved one who is immunocompromised (e.g. cancer, heart disease) or they themselves may be immunocompromised,’ penned one former follower.
‘How fragile are some people that a simple mask sets them off to this degree?’ they asked. ‘It’s absolutely ridiculous!! While I appreciate Mr Smith’s talent, this makes me no longer respect him as a human being. Unfollowing!’
‘NGL….. lost some respect. What if this person was visiting a sick family member and was just being extra safe. Always be kind…. You never know what they might be going through,’ wrote one follower.
Smith said the airline accused him of being drunk and that’s why he was removed from the flight. ‘I’ve been sittin’ in the airport for three hours, yeah, I’ve been drinkin’, but I ain’t drunk, but they throwed me off the plane cause I’m drunk,’ he said into the camera
‘Man up and admit alcohol made you run your mouth and now you’re paying the price,’ advised another.
The Centers for Disease Control has advised wearing a mask while using public transportation, including airplanes due to risk from influenza, Covid and the respiratory virus RSV.
In 2022, he was not able to attend the SAG Awards because he had not gotten a COVID shot.
At the time, he apologized to fans for not being able to come as he was ‘not vaccinated, and it’s a requirement to be vaccinated.’
‘I’m not vaccinated, I will not get vaccinated,’ Smith added. ‘I haven’t been vaccinated since I was a little kid. I don’t vaccinate my dogs, I don’t vaccinate my horses. I’ve never had a flu shot. I never will. I believe they compromise your immunities.’
