Nathan Landsee, 21, has been charged with aggravated battery and disorderly conduct over the incident at The Club at Lac La Belle venue in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin on Friday.

Officers were called to the golf course over reports ‘someone had their fingertip bitten off’ and saw Landsee ‘was sitting on a couch with blood on his sleeve, which did not appear to be from him’, according to Fox5.

He lunged at a guest before he was pinned down to the ground by three others and bit the victim’s fingertip off, according to the criminal complaint. Around half an inch of the finger had been bitten off which left the bone exposed.

The violence allegedly broke out after Landsee was told to stop fondling another unidentified wedding guest.

Landsee appeared in Waukesha County court on Monday where a signature bond of $25,000 was set.

He has been charged with aggravated battery and disorderly conduct over the incident at The Club at Lac La Belle venue in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin on Friday

Witnesses told prosecutors that there were two incidents involving Landsee at the wedding which led to someone having their fingertip bitten off.

The ‘original incident that occurred was when the defendant had inappropriately touched another guest’, the complaint says.

People were visibly upset with Landsee which is when the ‘defendant began to yell and became very agitated’.

He is said to have been moved to another room which was closed off from the ballroom and ‘the bride and groom at the venue were trying to calm the defendant down, which led to the second incident,’ according to the criminal complaint.

‘The defendant began yelling loudly and was disorderly again,’ it said.

A second witness went into the room where Landsee was and ‘reached a point where they needed to ask the defendant to leave’.

But he allegedly ‘became very aggressive and continued to be loud’.

The first witness told him the police would be called if he did not leave within five minutes.

But Landsee ‘started to lunge at him and was attempting to strike him’, according to the complaint.

It is said to have led to a scuffle and three people had to pin him to the ground and ‘the defendant bit the tip of someone’s finger off’.

There was blood on the floor between the foyer and the bathroom. The incident left many people disturbed and some were even crying.

A police sergeant said: ‘The victim’s injuries were significant. It appeared that approximately a half-inch of the finger had been bitten off.

‘The bone inside of the finger appeared to be exposed.’

The officer said the fingertip was found and put in a cup of ice.

Landsee spoke with the police who said he was cooperative.

‘It appears though, the defendant was highly intoxicated as he had a strong odor of intoxicants emanating from his person, his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and his speech was slurred,’ the complaint stated.

He allegedly told officers ‘he did not know what happened, but that everyone was grabbing him and someone put their hand inside of his mouth, so he bit down.’

Landsee had a preliminary breath sample taken and it registered 0.210 Blood Alcohol Content- registering 0.08 or higher is deemed as being intoxicated.

The victim called the police on October 29 and ‘stated that the injury to his finger resulted in 18 or 19 stitches while the surgeon attempted to reattach the tip of his finger’, according to the complaint.

He said if his surgery was not successful, he would have a ‘deformity for the rest of his life’.

A groomsman at the wedding said the incident was ‘traumatic’ for all those in attendance.
