Beyoncé has taken a vow of silence in the wake of Kanye West’s vile tweets about her youngest children out of respect for his family, despite being reduced to tears by the shocking attack, an insider has said.

The disgraced rapper, 47, dragged the pop superstar and her family into his latest unhinged Twitter rant as he questioned the mental capacities of seven-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, who she shares with husband Jay-Z, 55.

The Crazy in Love singer, 43, is reportedly refusing to stoop as low as Kanye – now known as Ye – and believes his offensive onslaught is a twisted reaction to their support for Kendrick Lamar.

‘Beyoncé was in tears, but she won’t respond out of respect for his family back in Chicago who she knows well,’ a source told DailyMail.com. ‘She holds a lot of secrets in her vault and could easy retaliate, but she is praying for him.

‘She won’t stoop to his level and go back and forth with him. She knows Kanye is also upset with her and Jay because they’ve been supporting Kendrick who Kanye is clearly jealous of.’

Kanye later removed the offensive post but made clear that it was not because he wanted to be ‘a good person.’

‘I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay Z and Beyoncé’s family down … because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled [sic],’ he wrote on X.

His ex-wife Kim Kardashian, with whom he has four children, reportedly contacted Beyoncé and Jay-Z to apologise for the abhorrent behaviour and is said to be ‘embarrassed’ by him.

‘Kim contacted them to apologise on Kanye’s behalf,’ the source added. ‘She isn’t responsible for his actions but is so embarrassed by it all and wanted them to know that she isn’t happy at all.’

Another source claimed Jay-Z will echo Beyoncé’s modicum of silence. The Roc Nation founder is no stranger to expressing himself in his songs – including his complicated relationship with Kanye – but he will not address the latest drama in any upcoming new music.

‘Fans would love it if he brought out new music but he won’t be doing a diss track. He doesn’t want to give Kanye any more fuel to bash him and his family,’ they said.

Kanye’s tweets exposed the bitterness he feels towards the Carters for allegedly failing to sufficiently support him in times of hardship.

‘I love Jay Z and I do feel bad I always felt like the black sheep like I wanted family in this music s**t,’ he wrote before lambasting him and Beyoncé for not attending his wedding to Kim Kardashian or his custody battle with the mega reality TV star.

‘I felt like both him and his wife could have helped me have more leverage with my kids,’ he continued. ‘They could have used their cultural position to not just watch the Kardashians run me over. S**t hurts so f**k both of them cause when I needed them it was f**k me.’

He also blasted his contemporary for ‘putting Kendrick on the Super Bowl over me or even us’.

Jay-Z and Kendrick have collaborated on several tracks, including ‘Swagga Like Us, Mr. Carter, and Don’t Kill My Vibe. He also picked the Pulitzer Prize winner to perform at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show.

Jay-Z and Kanye have had a tempestuous relationship since they started working together in 2000. Kanye later signed to Jay’s Roc-A-Fella Records.

In the years following they reportedly clashed over tour budgets and music rights with rumours of unrest frequently making headlines.

Kanye went public in 2016, slamming Jay-Z live on stage for not checking on him and Kim after she was robbed in Paris.

Jay-Z addressed the outburst in 2017 on his 4:44 album. On the opening track Kill Jay-Z, he rapped: ‘You dropped outta school, you lost your principles / I know people backstab you, I feel bad, too / But this ‘f**k everybody’ attitude ain’t natural.

‘But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe / But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye / You gave him 20 million without blinkin’ / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f**k was he thinkin’?’

Later that year he insisted they were back on speaking terms, likening their relationship to brothers during an interview with the New York Times.

‘It’s always been like a little underlying competition with your big brother,’ he said, adding: ‘We gonna always be good… there’s genuine love there.’

But relations have soured in the wake of Kanye’s latest comments, with sources telling PageSix that Beyoncé and Jay-Z are considering taking legal action.

The insider claimed the superstar couple ‘will absolutely not stand for’ the ‘vulgar and offensive’ language Kanye used to address their children.

Beyoncé’s mum Tina Knowles appeared to address the vile comments on Instagram as she told fans a ‘corny joke’ about a snowman having a ‘meltdown’ after throwing a ‘tantrum’.

She wrote: ‘Corny joke, time! it’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil. But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper. This battle is not mine, but the Lords , I know that God has got this.’

The caption was later edited to simply read: ‘Corny joke, time!’

Rumi and Sir have made brief appearances together in Beyoncé’s documentaries, Homecoming and Making The Gift, as well as advertising campaigns for her clothing brand, Ivy Park.

The couple also share Blue Ivy, 13, who has made several appearances at major events, including the MTV Video Music Awards and the Grammys, alongside her famous parents. 

Kanye’s comments come days after it was revealed he is suing the anonymous woman who accused him of rape. He vehemently denied the claims. In February she withdrew her lawsuit.
