The Traitors star Mollie Pearce becomes the sixth contestant to be voted off the skating show with her partner Colin Grafton

Mollie Pearce was the next star to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice during Sunday night’s live Musicals Week.

The Traitors star, 23, tearfully said goodbye to the ITV skating show after ending up in the skate off with TOWIE’s Dan Edgar.

They both performed their dances again – Mollie’s to a Mamma Mia soundtrack and Dan’s to a track from Oklahoma! the musical.

After Dan was saved by judges Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, with Oti Mabuse the only judge to pick to save Mollie.

As she spoke to hosts Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willoughby after being voted off, the tearful star said: ‘I’ve had the best time – these are happy tears!

‘This was the experience of a lifetime and I’m so happy that I made it this far.’

The remaining four have made it to the semi finals.

Elsewhere in the show, Coronation Street star Sam Aston and Molly Lanaghan scored 37.0 for their skate to I’d Do Anything from Oliver!.

Whilst Springwatch presenter Michaela Strachan and Mark Hanretty scored 36.5 after their routine that was set to Cabaret from the Liza Minnelli classic.

But the biggest score of the night went to former footballer Anton Ferdinand and Annette Dytrt, who received a perfect 40 after skating to Bring Him Home from Les Miserables in a first for this year’s edition of the series.

Earlier in the night Dan’s partner Vanessa James suffered a nasty fall during Musicals Week.

The TOWIE star, 34, took to the ice with his professional partner as they danced a cowboy-themed routine from Oklahoma! the musical.

But during one lift Vanessa landed wrong and painfully bent her ankle before falling and quickly picking herself up again.

After the performance was done hosts Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willoughby checked in on her.

Stephen said: ‘Now there was a fall are you ok!?’, to which she replied: ‘Yes fine I’m used to it!’

Despite the fall they came second on the leader board scoring an impressive 37.5.

It comes after last week viewers were left fuming after Charlie Brooks became the fifth contestant to be eliminated and accused judges of ‘overmarking’ Anton Ferdinand.

The EastEnders favourite, 43, who was partnered up with pro Eric Radford, battled it all out against the former footballer, 39, to earn a spot in the skate-off dance, but ultimately lost out on her place in the competition.

While saying goodbye after learning she was the next to be eliminated, Charlie candidly said she was ready to go after ‘weeks of hard graft’.

The actress told hosts Holly and Stephen that she began to feel ‘out of her depth’ as the show unfolded, acknowledging that could have been the ‘right person’ to be eliminated.

But viewers of the hit ITV show were not of the same opinion, and instead remarked Charlie danced ‘much better’ than Anton, claiming judges ‘over marked’ him on purpose – commenting on X:

‘Okay but dan had more mistakes than both charlie and Michaela and it was Vanessa that did all the tricks, he just stayed on two feet for the whole dance…. but sure let’s give him 9.5s #DancingOnIce’.

‘Well the judges will obviously put over marked Anton through. That’s a shame as I do like Charlie. #DancingOnIce’;

‘Sorry but Michaela and Charlie’s routines were so much better than Dan’s #dancingonice’;

‘Charlie and Eric should have been saved in my opinion! #dancingonice’;

‘Charlie: That’s the best you’ve skated But Ashley saves Anton #DancingOnIce’;

‘Charlie shouldn’t be in the bottom two omg! #DancingOnIce’;

‘Charlie has improved each week so why is she going home?? #DancingOnIce’;
