Here’s Humphrey is one of ‘s most iconic children’s shows.
The show, starring titular character Humphrey B. Bear, first appeared in 1965 and last went to air in 2008.
Over 3000 episodes were produced, and the beloved series, which was set in a magical forest, won numerous Logie Awards.
It was cancelled in 2000 after over 30 years on air, to much outcry from fans – including then-Prime Minister John Howard.
This led to a new series being commissioned, but it only lasted till 2003 before being cancelled again.

Here’s Humphrey was back again between 2007 and 2009 before finally vanishing for good despite plans to revive the series in 2019.
Or so it seems, as a website for the character, who now appears in live shows, appears to tease some changes ahead.
‘Humphrey’s new website is LAUNCHING SOON!’ the website reads.
‘At the Magic Forest we are super excited about Humphrey’s new website coming out soon,’ it continues.
