Police in Western Sydney have arrested two men following a dramatic shooting incident at a barbershop in Mount Druitt overnight.
The incident occurred around 2.30am, when a hail of bullets was fired into the store, located inside the Westfield Shopping Centre.
Officers responding to the scene discovered several bullet holes in the shop’s front window.
Shots were also fired into the nearby train station.
No injuries were reported, as the barbershop was unoccupied at the time of the attack.
Police tracked down and arrested two men in nearby Rooty Hill after they crashed their getaway car into a parked vehicle.
Bullet casings were visible on the ground this morning as forensics officers examined the scene.
