A married couple and their daughter were found dead at their luxury mansion in Massachusetts in what police are describing as ‘a deadly incident of domestic violence’.
The family of three was discovered dead at their $6.7 million, 27-room home in Dover on Thursday night after police received a 911 call from a family member who went to check on them just before 7:30 pm.
Once there, he discovered one of the family members dead. Police later found the two other bodies. A firearm was also found at the scene.
They were identified by Norfolk DA Michael Morrissey on Friday morning as Teena Kamal, 54, her husband Rakesh, 57, and daughter Ariana, 18, who attended Middlebury College. She was a recent graduate from the prestigious $40,000-a-year Milton Academy.
Morrissey said that a gun was found on the property near the husband, and that all three family members were found dead.
Wilson’s Way is a private road in Dover, about 19 miles from Boston. With a population of about 6,000 people and median income of $250,000, it’s considered the wealthiest town in the state. The Kamals’ home was assessed at $6.7 million, according to town records.
A member of the Wilson’s Way Homeowners’ Association also confirmed to DailyMail.com that the family was found dead.

At a press conference on Friday morning, Morrissey said: ‘This is an event to remember that the domestic violence crisis crosses all socio-economic and social situations.
‘During the search of the premises the police did find a firearm on the premises.
‘It’s clear that this is a confined situation and is no threat to the residents of the town.’
The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death as soon as today, he added.
‘This is very unfortunate and our hearts goes out to the entire Kamal family on this terrible tragedy.’
Morrissey said that there was no threat to the public and that ‘it is safe to believe that this is a domestic incident’.
‘It’s a safe neighborhood and the neighbhors were not aware,’ he added.

Dover, the richest town in Massachusetts, recorded its last homicide in 2020.
‘It’s very rare to have this kind of violent situation in any community in Norfolk county, particularly Dover, it’s a small, well-run and policed community.
‘A lot of times the violence we see in Norfolk county is people who are known to each other, unfortunately.’
In 2020, local doctor Ingolf Tuerk, 58, was indicted for the murder of his wife Kathleen McLean, who was found dead in a pond not far from their home in Valley Road.
McLean’s body was discovered two days after she was last seen alive. Police believed she was killed during an argument with her husband.
The medical examiner found ‘injuries and bruising consistent with strangulation.’
Tuerk allegedly told police he strangled his wife, and then when he realized she was dead he panicked and dumped her body in a pond.
Records revealed the mother-of-three had told cops that her husband repeatedly abused her during their marriage, just months before her murder.
She had accused him of ‘strangling’ and ‘cutting her with scissors’ and was so afraid of his ‘abuse’ that she’d taken out a restraining order against him.
