Actor Jeremy Piven astounded breakfast radio listeners when he swore during a trainwreck interview on Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren show on Friday.
Piven, 60, who rose to fame as the foul-mouthed agent in HBO’s satirical Hollywood dramedy Entourage, is currently Down Under on a stand-up comedy tour.
The popular funnyman was in the middle of describing his appreciation for Aussie audiences when, to the surprise of the Nova team, he dropped the C-bomb.
‘My show in Perth, you know, sold out, unbelievable. There was only one c*** in the whole room,’ he said.
Host Jason ‘Jase’ Hawkins censored the offensive word before it could get to air, leaving Piven a little sheepish.
The star, who had just made it to his early morning studio chat after taking a five-hour overnight plane from WA, asked his hosts lamely, ‘You can’t say that word?’

‘I don’t know where I am. I’m just gonna be totally unhinged,’ a tired Piven joked.
Trying to get the interview back on the rails, co-host Lauren Phillips made a stab at humouring her guest.
‘Whose idea was this? Which publicist is gonna absolutely cop a spray for getting you in here at 6?’ she joked.
‘I think the publicist wanted me to have a public… complete emotional breakdown,’ Piven replied, tongue-in-cheek.
Elsewhere in the chat, the three-time Emmy Award winner gushed over the response he has received from local fans on his current tour.
‘You know, the people here have been so good to me… if I hear an n accent, they’re always coming over to me, and they’re really kind.
‘And I know I say that, it’s not a mantra, it’s not a cliché, it’s just the truth.
‘All my shows are sold out. People are smart. They get the jokes… and if you’re not funny, they’re going to be silent. And if you’re funny, you’re going to crush it.’

The actor played the acerbic Hollywood agent Ari Gold on the HBO series Entourage from 2004 to 2011 and in the 2015 movie.

It comes after Jeremy Piven detailed his hilarious and awkward first meeting with Russell Crowe during his last Aussie tour.
The American star revealed exactly what happened when he first met the Oscar winner at a glitzy Hollywood party.
Speaking in March 2024 on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Jeremy candidly admitted that he was very ‘intimidated’ by n-based actor Russell when they first met.
‘I was at a Hollywood party, and I had one interaction with Russell, and you know he’s a very intimidating figure,’ he explained.
Piven admitted that things went from bad to worse when he couldn’t understand Russell’s accent.
After being confused by what he was saying, Jeremy eventually worked out that Russell was expressing a desire to work with him.
‘As it turns out, he had seen me in a film called Very Bad Things, which is just a beautiful, tragic, amazing, dark comedy,’ he went on.
According to Jeremy, Russell then asked him whether they could work together, to which he quipped: ‘I go: “I’m in wardrobe right now!”‘
