Uma Thurman lovingly posed for a snap taken by her ‘nepo baby’ Maya Hawke as they hit the red carpet together Wednesday night.
The mother-daughter duo headed to the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York to attend a 25th anniversary gala for Room To Grow, a nonprofit focused on new parents.
Heightening the family resemblance between them, Uma and Maya arrived at the fete in matching head-to-toe black ensembles.
Maya, 25, whose father is Uma’s smoldering ex-husband and Gattaca co-star Ethan Hawke, treated the photographers to her megawatt smile.
She exuded retro chic in a collarless jacket top with gleaming buttons, teamed with a pair of loose-fitted slacks and sleek leather shoes.

Slicking her dark hair severely back into a bun, she accentuated her features with naturalistic makeup and accessorized with a slouched handbag.
Uma on the other hand draped her statuesque figure in a long, shimmery black gown that featured a slit up the front to flash a bit of leg.
Lending herself a touch of extra stature with stilettos, the already 5’11” actress loomed over her daughter as they posed together in front of the photographers.
With her signature blonde locks swept back into a ponytail, Uma framed her cloven-in-marble visage with a pair of drop earrings.
Maya is currently being directed by her father in Wildcat, an upcoming biopic of the celebrated American writer Flannery O’Connor.
In a recent interview with Variety, she confessed that starring in her father’s movie in the wake of the ‘nepo baby’ controversy did give her a bit of pause.
‘I had moments of insecurity about it while we were shooting the movie,’ she said. ‘But the internet doesn’t have a lot of nuances. My dad has been a massive teacher for me, and we want to work together. We like being with each other.’
Ethan meanwhile chimed in: ‘If someone wants to criticize us for working together, that’s totally fair. You have to let people have their opinion. You just have to try to do a good job when you’re onstage.’

The shoot of Wildcat came on the heels of a social media furor over ‘nepo babies’ in who are said to have gotten showbiz careers because of family connections.
Maya is one of a massive glut of rising starlets with famous parents, from Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose Depp to Andie MacDowell’s daughter Margaret Qualley.
Maude Apatow, whose parents are Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann, and Kaia Gerber, whose mother is Cindy Crawford, have shot to fame in recent years as well.
Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon, Heidi Klum’s daughter Leni Klum and Elvis Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough are also coming up, among others.
Maya remarked to Rolling Stone last year: ‘I feel like the only way to handle the nepotism thing – which definitely gives you massive advantages in this life – is, you will get chances for free, but the chances will not be infinite.’
She explained: ‘So you have to keep working and do a good job. If you do a bad job, the chances will stop. That’s my ethos.’
The online chatter around ‘nepo babies’ reached a fever pitch this past December after New York magazine ran a viral cover story about the phenomenon.
Dakota Johnson, whose parents are Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith and whose grandmother is Hitchcock blonde Tippi Hedren, was one of the faces on the cover.
