Two people have been injured after a display car malfunctioned in a busy shopping centre.
Emergency services were called to Westfield Liverpool Shopping Centre about 12.30pm on Saturday, following reports two people had been hit by a car.
Police have been told a teenager was sitting inside a A BYD electric vehicle when it accelerated forward smashing a glass panel.

It’s understood the car reversed into the Myer store, striking the two people.
Paramedics arrived and treated a 50-year-old man with a head injury and forehead laceration and a 28-year-old man with spinal and pelvic injuries
They were both taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
A third individual received treatment for minor injuries from falling glass but did not require hospitalisation.
A 28-year-old male sustained spinal and pelvic injuries and was also transported to Liverpool Hospital
Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the cause of the crash.
It is understood officers have spoken to a 14-year-old boy at the scene, who has now been allowed to leave with a family member.
Inquiries are continuing.
