Two Brits were among four people rescued after spending four days at sea on a sinking boat, it has been reported.
The men, who were suffering from dehydration, were found by Spanish authorities around 60 miles north of Tenerife.
They were winched to safety by helicopter after making a Mayday call when the stricken boat started sinking.
A Panamanian-flagged ship, named locally as Green Power, is said to have responded by heading to the area along with the Spanish coastguard.
The four men were taken by helicopter to Tenerife South airport where they were then transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
It is not currently clear what the men were doing at sea and why they got into difficulty.
Police and the Spanish coastguard are yet to make any official comment.
