President Donald Trump has announced he will put up two 100ft poles to fly the American flag outside the White House.
Trump was seen touring the lawn outside the building as he chose where to put the two flags, which he will pay for.
He said: ‘We’re putting up a beautiful, almost 100ft tall American flag on this side and another one on the other side. Two flags. Top of the line.’
Trump also said there would be a ‘fair’ trade deal with China as financial markets recovered some of their recent losses.
