Trinny Woodall showed off the results of her gruelling workout regime this week while filming a styling video for her Instagram page on Wednesday.

The Trinny London founder, 61, looked incredible in a cropped beige underlayer which showed off her rock hard abs to perfection in the clip.

Trinny’s video was advising her followers how to style a pair of smart sweatpants, which she teamed with chunky boots and a sequin top.

The make-up mogul added a bomber jacket and earrings to complete the ensemble, while styling her hair in a bouncy blown out do with glam make-up from her own line.

Trinny openly talks about some of the health benefits she buys into as the reason she looks so good at 60 – including regular workouts and consistent skincare.

She most recently revealed the secrets behind her noticeably radiant complexion after what she describes as a ‘very stressful’ few months.

Trinny, the powerhouse creator of beauty brand Trinny London, has seen her business skyrocket over the past few years with a rapidly growing following.

Torn between her many commitments, she was starting to really feel – and see – the impact of her hectic schedule.

Until she discovered her unexpected love for daily meditation – something she admits ‘wasn’t for her’ but now describes as ‘profound’.

She told FEMAIL: ‘I lead quite a stressed life and I was realising that stress, medically, is a really sh**ty place to get to for your body. It just is. It will affect you physically and medically.

‘So I thought I would take control before I let stress affect my body in a negative way.

‘I had two people come into my life and I noticed such a profound difference in how they were [after meditating]. One of them I thought had had a facelift, and the other was just so much easier to sit and chat to.’

Inspired, Trinny started getting up half an hour earlier each morning and spend 20 minutes meditating with a mantra. She then finds time for a second 20-minute block in the afternoon – even if it’s in the bathroom at her office.

‘I’ve been doing it for four weeks now and I really feel a shift. When you’re stressed, from an aesthetic perspective, it shows on your face,’ she said.

‘I feel so much calmer now.’

Trinny has made other changes in her lifestyle too, including cutting her coffee consumption right down and making sure she gets enough sleep every night.

‘I’m really into Lion’s Mane right now, because I want that energy. I have it in tea every morning and put some collagen powder in it,’ she said.

Lion’s Mane mushroom extracts have been found to help with inflammation, memory, anxiety and mental clarity in various studies.

‘I’m trying to find an alternative for coffee because it’s one of those things I really love but also gets me really jittery and affects my sleep,’ Trinny said.

‘A Lion’s Mane Chai gives me that same great feeling coffee does – it sort of tricks my brain. I use a frother to make the almond milk really frothy and pop in some cinnamon and nutmeg in as well because I’m still trying to have less sugar.’

Trinny said the Lion’s Mane has helped her with memory and focus while the celebrity-beloved oral supplement NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) has been ‘really beneficial’ for her skin and energy.

She takes four or five capsules of collagen followed by estrogen, testosterone and Magnolia Rhodiola – she says the latter has been a game-changer for her mood.

She also takes a lot of Vitamin C and swears by Glutathione – a powerful antioxidant that may decrease inflammation and reduce oxidative stress in the body.

Trinny has also been a huge fan of Vitamin A, D and K, hormone support capsules and magnesium citrate and supports her supplement routine with a steadfast skincare one.

This, unsurprisingly, is made up of her own products, with moisturiser Bounce Back one of her top recommendations for Aussies as they head into the dry cooler months.

The wildly popular product, which is available in online and at the Trinny London pop-ups, is also part of Trinny’s jet lag prevention routine.

‘I put on Plump Up, Bounce Back and then a dry sheet mask for eight hours. I’ll leave it on the whole time even if I go to the loo. It was easy when masks were normal because nobody could see how mad I looked,’ she said.

When asked about her other ‘secrets’ for a radiant complexion, Trinny said facial self-massage has been a game-changer.

Using just her hands, Trinny massages firmly down her jaw to address what she describes as ‘gristle’ on her bone.

‘We sag down as we age which is in part due to this stuff that gathers around [the jaw],’ she said.

‘Your jawline is what gives you that jowly moment so I call what I do cleaning the gristle. It might sound horrible, but I do this, and I’m quite firm with it. You could buy a tool but our hands are free.’

When it comes to exercise, Trinny has swapped regular Pilates for strength training – something she believes is ‘crucial’ as you age.

‘I think having physical strength is something really important as as a woman, I love to feel physically strong,’ she said.

‘It gives me a rush. It’s a simple thing, but I went from four kilo weights to ten, and I feel amazing, strong… fantastic.’

Waking up earlier has also been a game-changer, with an extra hour removing the rushed, frantic energy from her day.

‘I do a really nice massage on my skin, I layer my skincare products, I do my exercise, I have my hot water and lemon and I take my supplements. It feels good and I’ve filled my tank for the day,’ she said.

‘I’ve set myself up as opposed to waking up, being late for everything, rushing, rushing, rushing.’

As for what’s next in the skincare world, Trinny has been in the lab working on something ‘big’.

After the success of her ‘miracle’ product The Elevator, which significantly reduces neck lines and wrinkles, she’s determined to solve yet another universal ‘problem’.

‘At moment we are [working on] a nirvana,’ she said.

‘It’s really tricky because it’s something that is three things in one and I don’t know yet if it’s going to do that.

‘It’s three things that are to do with inflammation of the skin and how you can address that.

‘I’m not going to say more, but that’s an area I’m really, really interested in. That and the relationship we have with different parts of our body.’

You can shop Trinny’s products online and in-store in and find her book Fear Less in all good book stores.
