Two twin girls have been tragically killed in a horrific crash after the car they were travelling in ploughed into a tree.
The crash happened on Great Eastern Highway in Carrabin, between Merredin and Southern Cross in Western ‘s Wheatbelt region shortly after 11am on Sunday.
WA Police, St John Ambulance and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended the crash site.

‘Upon arrival at the scene it was confirmed the crash involved a white Toyota Camry sedan, which had left the road and struck a tree,’ police statement read.
‘Tragically, two seven-year-old girls died at the scene.’
The female driver, 31, was taken to Merredin Hospital by ambulance.
