Tori Spelling is marking what would be her 18th wedding anniversary with her estranged husband Dean McDermott, 57, as ‘just another day.’
On the Monday, May 6 episode of her podcast MisSpelling, Tori, 50, revealed that she didn’t even realize her anniversary was upon her ‘until, no joke, two days ago.’
‘It’s May, you guys. It’s a huge month for me,’ she said to open the episode, citing her May 7 anniversary, May 16th birthday, and Mother’s Day.
‘I would always be like, “Hey, buddy. Sorry, you’re screwed. You got three Tori days to deal with, essentially, in May,”‘ Tori – who said she’d love to have another baby with her ex – explained.
A friend of hers recently remarked that he could now remove May 7 from his calendar which set off a lightbulb in the Beverly Hills, 90210 star’s head.

‘I hadn’t thought about that. May 7 is just gonna be another day from now on,’ she said.
She added: ‘That kind of hit me. I was like, “Wow, yeah, wow,” I mean, obviously, I filed for divorce. We’re getting a divorce, but I hadn’t thought about that.’
In the past, Tori made Dean DIY gifts for their anniversary and she shared some of the various things she’s made for him over the years.
She calls herself a ‘crafter to the core’ and said she ‘would always make something for Dean on our wedding anniversary because you know anyone can buy someone something. Allegedly.
‘If you can, that’s very nice. But I always say homemade equals love. Whether that’s in the past, present or the future I still maintain that.’
One year she made him a leather cuff and another year she made him a bench and inscribed the phrase ‘I want to grow old with you’ on it.
‘Or something,’ she said. ‘I’m conveniently blocking it out, because it hurts,’ adding that the gift was ‘inspired by those old couples sitting on a bench.’
‘At the end of the day, he and I and our kids, we’re a family unit. He’s their father, whether we’re married on not,’ Spelling said, adding, ‘Well, I’m not going to grow old with him.’
Continuing to tear up, Spelling added, ‘Oh my god, you guys, every week it is not going to be about me, like, “Oh I’m Tori, I’m alone and single!” Or it can be, I mean, I don’t know.’

‘Oh my god, I’m tearing up, I do have feelings, look at that. She exists!’ she exclaimed.
Joking about what she’d make for McDemott this year, she pondered the idea of making him fake teeth.
‘How would his girlfriend feel about that? “If you ever loved me, you will wear my porcelain teeth around your neck! Five of them for the five beautiful kids we made,”‘ she joked.
‘How can you say no to that? Sorry, Lily, you know I love you,’ she said referring to McDemott’s new girlfriend Lily Calo.

Another year she made him something more intimate: a brass c*ck ring.
‘Oh, the brass c–ck ring was really good that year,’ she said. ‘I hammered it. Oh, my God. I’m so talented. I welded it.’
Tori filed for divorce from Dean in March after nearly 18 years of marriage. She cited June 17, 2023 as their date of separation, which is the same day McDermott announced their split on social media.
Spelling and McDermott married in a private ceremony in Fiji in 2006. The reality star shares Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, and Finn, 11, and Beau, 7, with her ex-husband.
Meanwhile Tori may have a nice Mother’s Day with her mom Candy for a change as they have been getting along better these days.
Tori has had a shoulder to lean on as she ends her marriage to McDermott.
Her mother, whom she has previously had a rocky relationship with, has been a source of support for her.
‘Well, she really needed [support],’ Candy, 78, told People in April.
She noted it meant ‘a lot’ that she had been able to provide her daughter with the assistance she needed during this time.
‘Everything’s good,’ she added.

Last year Candy vocalized her support for Tori amid her split from Dean.
At the time, Dean had famously announced their separation on Instagram before deleting the post.
‘She’s doing great,’ she told TMZ.
Candy admitted she didn’t know what the fate of Tori and Dean’s marriage would be.
When asked if Tori and Dean were done for good, Candy said she didn’t know before adding, ‘I love my daughter, and I support her in whatever she does. I support my daughter, what can I tell you?’
She was also asked if she would be willing to provide Tori financial support if necessary.
‘Of course, I will always be there for her,’ she said.
