Tommy Fury’s father John eerily predicted his son’s future with Molly-Mae Hague as he made a brutal swipe about her not being a wife.

Last week, Molly-Mae, 25, left fans stunned as she announced her shock split with the boxer, also 25, after five years together – with it since emerging that he allegedly ‘cheated’ on her. 

However, two years before their split, former professional boxer John, 59, seemingly foresaw the end of the couple’s romance as he made a remark about them not being married.

During an episode of the family’s Netflix show, At Home With The Furys – which was filmed in the summer of 2022 while Molly-Mae was still pregnant with daughter Bambi – the influencer was seen approaching John to tell him she’d learnt some traveller lingo to impress him.

Speaking to his son’s then girlfriend, John said: ‘It’s a boxer’s life, it’s a boxer’s wife’, to which Molly-Mae replied: ‘Not a wife yet, one day!’

John then made a savage dig about Molly-Mae’s relationship status as he quipped: ‘If you’re not now, in the condition you’re in, you’re never gonna be, are ya?’ before the pair then both laughed at him comment.

Tommy went on to pop the question to Molly-Mae the following year, getting down on one knee in a romantic moment in Ibiza as an emotional Molly-Mae clutched their daughter.

It comes following news that Molly-Mae has been pushing aside her feelings in order to prioritise daughter Bambi’s wellbeing.  

understands that the reality star is paying it no attention to all the drama and has been pushing her thoughts and feelings about Tommy aside to focus on her 20-month-old daughter. 

Amid the drama, Molly-Mae has been supported by her friends and loved ones, who have been rallying around her at her £3.5million Cheshire mansion.

In a candid video posted on social media the Love Island star said she had spent weeks looking after their daughter Bambi on her own while her fiancé was working elsewhere.

Molly and Tommy met on Love Island in 2019 and went on to get engaged last year, after welcoming their little girl in January 2023. 

Tommy was spotted on Saturday for the first time with baby daughter Bambi as they enjoyed an ice cream in the park following his shock split.
