Tom Sandoval has starred in Vanderpump Rules for the last decade, since its inception, but season 11 is the first time he felt like an ‘outsider.’
‘I’ve never really been an outsider with everyone like I was. So that’s going to be, I think, interesting for people to see,’ the 40-year-old reality star told People on Wednesday.
‘[It was] definitely one of my probably hardest seasons to film, ever.’
Tom originally joined the show as a modest bartender at SUR, but he now reportedly earns $25K/episode and co-owns Schwartz & Sandy’s Lounge and he’s also junior partner of Tom Tom Restaurant & Bar.
Sandoval attempts to salvage some of the friendships that fractured during the fallout of his months-long affair with Rachel Leviss, which effectively ended his nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix on March 1.

‘I’m just taking my time,’ The Most Extras frontman explained.
‘You’ll see [on] this coming season of Vanderpump Rules how a lot of that stuff sort of plays out.’
In the BravoCon teaser, Scheana Shay is seen giving Tom a supportive hug on a rooftop and James Kennedy jokingly attempts to draw a line in the sand during a group beach outing.
All the while, Sandoval and the 38-year-old DWTS contestant continue to share a $2M 4,500-square-foot five-bedroom Valley Village home ‘because of (7.88%) interest rates right now.’
The tense preview ended with Ariana warning the Everybody Loves Tom podcaster: ‘Ruin my life, my home, and then f***ing attempt to kill my f***ing dog. My lawyer will be dealing with you.’
Tom – who still boasts 1.1M social media followers – might have been loudly booed at BravoCon 2023 between November 3-5 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, but the fans still lined up for his meet-and-greets.
During the ‘SURving Up the Latest with Vanderpump Rules’ panel, Brock Davies stood up for Sandoval and insisted they remain ‘friends’ while Lala Kent gave him credit for enduring fans’ vitriol.
‘In a weird, weird way, I don’t know if it’s respect, but with everyone really hating on Tom, he still went out, he still performed shows, he’s sitting in front of y’all getting booed,’ the 33-year-old single mom said on the Gold Stage.
