This Morning’s medic Dr Zoe Williams has shared a glimpse of her sunny family getaway in Antigua.

The TV favourite, 43, was joined by her partner Stuart McKay and their young son Lisbon Lion on the trip, which left her ‘recharged’ and ready to head back to work.

The trio stayed at the St James’s Club and Villas, part of the Elite Islands Resort Group, a family-friendly all-inclusive resort which boasts its own private beaches, plus six swimming pools.

Zoe took to Instagram to share her sunshine break with her 129,000 followers.

During her slideshow of snaps, she praised the Caribbean island’s ‘beautiful, happy and relaxed’ vibe, as well as tipping future holidaymakers to explore Antigua’s ‘hidden spots’.

She revealed her son Lisbon Lion’s favourite part of the holiday was ‘having his own private island for the day,’ an excursion offered to guests at the five-star resort.

Speaking about her trip, Dr Zoe said: ‘I adore the Caribbean and to return to Antigua and share it with our little one was fantastic.

‘Beach, Ocean, wonderful food (Lisbon LOVED the Jerk Chicken), people, and views, and that’s just the beginning.

‘There’s so much on offer across the island. I’ve been a fan of the Elite Island Resorts group since my first stay with them in 2019.

‘To be able to return and relax at a resort that loves families with a brilliant team left us re-charged and full of memories.’

The NHS GP, who previously featured on TV show Gladiators as Amazon, enjoyed a catamaran trip to Green Island, where they stayed for the day.

En-route they were treated to the sights of turtles and fish in the clear blue seas, plus the coral beneath them.

But back at the hotel it was their time to relax, at the tranquil Mamora Bay and Coco Beach, the resort’s beaches, as well as the open air spa.

Best bits: She revealed her two-year-old son Lisbon Lion’s favourite part of the holiday was ‘having his own private island for the day,’ an excursion offered to guests at the five-star resort

Lisbon Lion had plenty to do in the award-winning Kidz Club, which puts on nature trails, art classing and swimming.

The country club-style resort is set on a private 100-acre peninsula on the south-eastern coast of Antigua, and also features tennis and pickleball courts.

And Zoe could maintain her fitness regime by using the resort’s gym facilities.

Zoe and Stuart posed up a picture on the veranda of one of the resort’s five restaurants, which offer everything from freshly caught seafood and international cuisine, as well as local authentic Antiguan food.
