ABC News executives are reportedly actively searching for a conservative, pro-Trump voice to join the panel on The View after its woke stars all backed Vice President Kamala Harris for president.

The talk show – co-hosted by liberals Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines as well as Republican Trump critics Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin – featured the vice president in an episode just one month ahead of the election.

Then, just one day after Trump’s victory, the panelists dressed in all black as if they were attending a funeral.

But now ABC News Group President Debra OConnell and ABC News boss Almin Karamehmedovic are holding sit-down meetings with executive producers and other senior editorial leaders to address its coverage, the New York Post reports.

It is primarily focusing on The View, unidentified sources said.

‘The View is facing pressure from higher-ups,’ the source said. ‘Viewers can expect some major changes, including brining in new panelists that can bring in a pro-Trump perspective.’

The source went on to note that all six of the current panelists endorsed Harris in the presidential election.

‘They lost. They are out of touch with America,’ the insider said, noting: ‘For a show about different perspectives, The View doesn’t seem to have any when it comes to Trump’ and ABC News executives ‘don’t want to alienate the pro-Trump demographic’ as they try to maintain the show’s ratings and advertising revenue.

‘At the end of the day, these changes aren’t about politics. They are about economics,’ the source explained. ‘Trump got more than half of the vote.

‘TV networks need to find pro-Trump voices and diversify viewpoints to reflect the various perspectives of Americans.’

Another unidentified source also noted that the change comes after ABC News execs were caught by surprise by Trump’s victory.

‘We are trying to sort out how we cover the next four years, when everyone inside ABC News is on one side,’ the source said.

It remains unclear whether the show would kick off one of its woke panelists or just add a seventh.

But including a conservative onto the notoriously woke show may cause some issues with its top talent, the first source said.

‘The question is what will happen to the Whoopis and the Joys if they bring on a Trumpster,’ the insider said.

Many of the panelists have already spoken out against the president-elect since his victory, with Goldberg – the show’s longest-running permanent co-host – announcing that she will continue to refuse to use Trump’s name.

‘He’s not the president. I’m still not going to say his name,’ the woke co-host said. ‘That’s not going to change.’

Goldberg has refused to use Trump’s name since he first took office in 2016, saying she ‘can’t’ bring herself to put the word ‘president’ before his name.

Sunny Hostin also said she was ‘profoundly disturbed’ by the election outcome, as she blamed ‘uneducated white women’ and ‘Latino men’ for Trump’s victory, claiming they voted in favor of policies that will negatively impact them.

‘I think [Trump’s victory] had nothing to do with policy, I think this was a referendum on cultural resentment in this country,’ she told the show.

‘Black women tried to save this country again, last night… what we do not have is white women, who voted about 52 percent for Donald Trump – uneducated white women is my understanding. You have Latino men actually, voting more for him.’

Amid the Trump-bashing, former panelist Meghan McCain took to X to lash out at her one-time castmates.

‘Respectfully, please stop sending me clips from The View,’ she wrote, describing the show as a ‘radical progressive insane asylum and that’s why I left years ago.’

McCain also hit out at the show for not having ‘a single conservative woman’ on the panel during the election season.

‘It is actual malfeasance on the part of ABC News that there isn’t one single conservative woman on The View this morning who voted for Trump or simply isn’t repulsed by his supporters to explain to America why he is so popular,’ she said following Trump’s win.
