Delta Goodrem discovered a surprise item in her hotel room during her luxe honeymoon with Matthew Copley this week.

The n singer, who tied the knot with Matt during a lavish wedding in Malta back in June, took to Instagram on Wednesday to rave about the couple’s trip to Singapore, where they stayed at the grand, five-star resort Raffles Sentosa.

However, it was not the $2,500-a-night bill that surprised the iconic star, but rather what she found in her hotel room as she arrived at the luxurious vacation spot.

Delta revealed the hotel had sweetly placed a framed photo of her and Matt from their wedding day beside her bed.

‘So many times we fly through Singapore on our travels and I’ve always wanted to stop and explore the gorgeous city more,’ she captioned the post.

‘Finally on our way home was the perfect last stop on our honeymoon – we got to stay at the incredible @raffles_sentosa!’

She added: ‘Thank you for hosting us for a few magical nights in paradise! Not to mention the personal touch of a photo in a frame from our wedding.’

Delta shared numerous photos from their honeymoon, including one of her glammed up in a green maxi dress and videos of some of the Singapore sights, including the glimmering Gardens by the Bay.

Delta pulled out all the stops when she walked down the aisle with Matthew in Malta two months ago.

After saying ‘I do’ at the historic St. Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina, the newlyweds moved the festivities to the gorgeous Palazzo Parisio in nearby Naxxar.

Previously known as Scicluna Palace, and Palazzo Scicluna, the stunning venue has been described as a ‘miniature Versailles’ – the iconic former French royal residence that was commissioned by King Louis XIV.

Delta stunned in an off-the-shoulder wedding gown with a racy sweetheart neckline, designed by South n fashion designer Paul Vasileff.

The French tulle gown featured gorgeous lattice detailing and a two-and-a-half metre train.

She changed into two further dresses during the party so she would be comfortable enough to dance the night away while Conrad Sewell and Vince Pizzinga performed for the A-list guests.

The singer told Vogue that she wanted to, ‘feel like myself on the day. That was really important to me. The look needed to feel grounded amongst the fairytale.’

Her groom, meanwhile, was dressed in ‘head-to-toe’ Tom Ford, Delta told Vogue – adding that she did not see Matt the night before their vows to add to the magic.

‘Seeing Matt for the first time at the aisle was so memorable, as we had kept the tradition of not seeing each other the night before,’ she told the publication.

‘Every moment was a fairytale come true. The whole day and the week spent with everyone were beyond our wildest dreams.’
