No wonder an insider called DOLLY BUSBY, revealed all and hissed: ‘It’s an absolute joke!’

It was an emotional Molly-Mae Hague who addressed her two million YouTube followers from her car in her weekly vlog last month.

Overwhelmed by the stress of coping with her two-year-old daughter Bambi, who was misbehaving on a day out to the local petting zoo, she had just asked her sister and fellow influencer, Zoe Rae, to take the toddler inside.

Tears streaming down her cheeks from behind her Prada sunglasses, the Love Island star explained that she just needed time to ‘calm down for a minute’.

In the weeks leading up to the emotional video, the mother-of-one had come under heavy criticism from online critics for complaining that she hadn’t had a chance to do ‘one fun thing’ this summer despite having enjoyed a £14,000-a-night romantic getaway in Dubai and been seen in the Royal Box at Wimbledon.

So here was Molly-Mae trying to demonstrate to her fans that, behind it all, she too was a mother struggling to control her child and regain some relatability points.

The 25-year-old pledged to be open and honest about her struggles with motherhood and said: ‘I don’t care who tells me I’m out of touch with reality because I’m not going to not talk about it. I’m just not going to not talk about it.’

Right on cue a voice from behind screams: ‘Mummy, where’s Daddy?’ It’s Bambi.

Molly-Mae sinks her head into her hands, before looking up to stare into the camera lens and say: ‘It’s just like every single thing is a huge problem I can’t even get socks and shoes on. I feel like I need to keep my camera running all day so you guys can just see.’

But if Molly-Mae did film and broadcast every second of her day, a very different picture would emerge because her life is not quite as pressured as she would have us believe.

For I can reveal that the Hertfordshire-born influencer employs a full-time nanny who works at her £4million Cheshire mansion ‘all day, every day’ and ‘does all the heavy lifting’ when it comes to taking care of Bambi.

So present is the carer in the baby’s life, that they have created a ‘very special bond’ and Bambi has become ‘very attached’ to her nanny.

Over the summer, Molly-Mae has been filming for the second series of her documentary, Behind It All, but much of the footage has been edited out of the final cut because it shows Bambi being looked after by the nanny and bosses have decided ‘it was not a good look’ for Molly-Mae.

An insider told the Daily Mail: ‘There were a lot of raised eyebrows among the production staff because the show will not be a true reflection of Molly’s life and how she looks after Bambi. It was such a joke.

‘Whenever Bambi needs anything or wants anything, instead of going to Molly, she would automatically go to the nanny who she is very attached to. They have a really special bond.

‘But this “secret” nanny would do all of the heavy lifting and, as they were filming the show organically, there were all these shots of Bambi going to the nanny for stuff. But no one will know that because it all had to be edited out at the end.

‘It’s an absolute joke what they’ve done, it won’t be a true reflection at all.’

Even on her ‘open and honest’ YouTube account Molly-Mae has kept quiet about the existence of the nanny and only her older sister Zoe, 28, is seen to be sharing the parenting duties

The first series of Behind It All attracted 500,000 viewers on launch day, with many eager to see the ‘truth’ about her break-up with Bambi’s father, boxer Tommy Fury, which shocked their fans last August.

The producers of the show, which was nominated for a National Television Award, promised to take us ‘behind the scenes of her life since her split from Tommy Fury in 2024’, adding: ‘As she juggles motherhood and a career, we witness the Love Island star’s life away from the spotlight.’

While fans had learned that Molly-Mae and Tommy, 25, had secretly got back together during the filming, this development was not reflected by the show, which upset many who wanted to believe that what they were watching was an authentic portrayal of their life.

And it appears history will repeat itself in the second series of the fly-on-the-wall series, as it promises to show Molly-Mae ‘balancing motherhood and family relationships’ and ‘taking on personal challenges’ but will not include any footage of her hardworking nanny.

Even on her ‘open and honest’ YouTube account Molly-Mae has kept quiet about the existence of the nanny and only her older sister Zoe, 28, is seen to be sharing the parenting duties on camera.

Clips from various vlogs show Zoe, who lives with her younger sister, to have bathed Bambi after school, with Molly-Mae saying ‘I could kiss you Zoe’, as if she had no other support.

Last month, she sat and stressed to her viewers that she wasn’t ‘cut out’ for the workload involved were she to have a second child.

'We're trying for a baby': Vanessa Feltz's ex and new wife hit back in revealing honeymoon interview

‘I want to have another baby at some point because I want to give Bambi a sibling,’ she confided in her followers.

‘But like the idea of times-ing this by two, I don’t know if I could ever do it, I just don’t know if I’m cut out for it. Like maybe I don’t have the patience other mums do.’

The comments posted beneath the video were full of messages of support from other struggling mothers, with comments such as, ‘She’s being honest, people need to stop glamorizing motherhood, it’s tough and so unappealing,’ or ‘We’re here with you’, as the video attracted over a million clicks.

In another video, she said that she was worried about spending the weekend alone with Bambi as Zoe and her personal trainer husband, Dan, were in Bali and Tommy was at a Formula One event.

Walking around her house, preparing to take her daughter to soft play, she said: ‘I feel like for this weekend alone with Bambi, I really need all the good energy.

‘I am fully aware that some people will think it’s absolutely crazy that I talk about having alone time with Bambi like this and even Tommy was saying yesterday that he does worry about me sometimes.

‘I think he just, he wants me to enjoy it because he does, he finds being a dad so flipping easy.

‘He can have Bambi all day to himself and he does not get one bit stressed, one bit agitated. He doesn’t get frustrated and then me, I try so hard to stay calm and collected.’

She added: ‘But I’m just such a control freak, I just sometimes think it’s easier if I do it. If we’re setting up the camera on her cot, if we’ve been away.’

It’s no surprise an influencer who relies on being relatable for the success of her brand wants to keep her reliance on a child-carer secret.

The first rumours that she might employ a nanny emerged two years ago, when Tommy and Molly-Mae, who were taking a family trip to Athens, were spotted at Manchester Airport with an unknown woman who was pushing the infant Bambi’s buggy.

The issue divided her normally loyal fanbase. Sceptics were not just critical of the couple for potentially employing help to look after their child but their refusal to confirm this fact publicly.

Comments under the video, which was plastered all over TikTok, included: ‘Wow, she has a nanny? Interesting she’s kept that quiet.’

Another added: ‘Anything to be relatable.’

While a third commented: ‘So why don’t they ever say that. They only ever make out it’s the three of them. That’s why people are shocked.’

When the Daily Mail approached Molly-Mae’s camp about the nanny story, we were told they had no comment to make on the matter.

Given the hostility the issue has aroused, it’s no wonder someone who cares as much as Molly-Mae does about the approval of her followers continues to keep the existence of her nanny a secret.
