The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Mary Cosby garnered plenty of reactions to an image she posted of herself, getting a number of compliments, as well as skepticism to how much editing had been done on the image.
The reality star, 51, on Tuesday took to X/Twitter with a screenshot of herself from the show’s forthcoming fifth season with the caption, ‘Confessional look for s5 #RHOSLC.’
The Bravo personality, who is a full-time cast member during this season after spending season four as a friend, is seen donning a shiny red dress with matching earrings in the shot, with her light brown locks parted.
Some users said it appeared that Cosby – who appears to clash with costar Meredith Marks, 52, in the forthcoming season – used an app or filter to alter her appearance in the image she posted.
‘God works hard, but @facetune works harder,’ one fan said, while another asked, ‘What filter did she use?? Because they ain’t how she look.’

Said one user: ‘Auntie I ain’t recognize you! I’m seeing a bit of Mia from [Real Housewives of Potomac] mixed with facetune i- you look fab without!’
Cosby, who describes herself as an entrepreneur, event specialist, philanthropist and spiritual leader on her Instagram page, received a bevy of compliments for the post as well.

A user said that Cosby looked ‘gorgeous’ while another said they were ‘happy’ she was in a more prominent spot, and ‘can finally watch [the show] again;’ while one said she had the ‘best confessional look.’

Cosby’s elevated role in the upcoming season clearly brings a measure of buzz to the Utah-based series, as she has past made headlines for her controversial clashes with castmates such as Whitney Rose, Heather Gay, Jennie Nguyen and Jen Shah.

Cosby was seen telling Marks that she’s ‘not always the victim’ in a separate exchange in which Marks responded that Cosby had used her for three years.
