The Pioneer Woman Anne Marie ‘Ree’ Drummond’s daughter, Paige Drummond, is engaged.
On Saturday, the 55-year-old blogger’s eldest child and Paige’s big sister Alex Drummond confirmed the exciting news.
She took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of the newly betrothed couple after Paige’s now-fiancé David Anderson proposed.
‘ENGAGED,’ Alex wrote alongside a white heart emoji.
In the photo, Paige, 24, held up her left hand to show off the shiny sparkler now adorning her ring finger as her now-fiancé wrapped his arms around her.
Shortly after, Ree — who is soon-to-be a first-time grandmother as Alex is currently expecting her first child — also shared the news as well as details about the proposal, which happened in Dallas, Texas, on her blog.

‘Paige is my strong, mighty, wonderful daughter and the fact that she found a person she wants to spend her life with is a pretty indescribable feeling.’
The author also said that the proposal included ‘behind-the-scenes drama’ although she did not clarify what happened.
Ree said she was involved in ‘outright lies and deception’ in order to make sure Paige did not figure out their plans before it happened.
She also likened the couple’s proposal story to ‘an epic action adventure movie.’
In other exciting family news, fans of The Pioneer Woman learned that Ree is becoming a grandmother after Alex and her husband, Mauricio Scott, announced earlier this summer that they’re expecting their first baby.
In July, the pair, who celebrated their third wedding anniversary this past May, had a gender reveal.
In addition to her daughters Alex and Paige, Ree is also mother to sons Bryce, 21, Jamar, 21, and Todd, 20.
Earlier this summer, Ree revealed that Paige moved back home to Pawhuska, Oklahoma to work with her dad Ladd as a cattle rancher.

‘It’s really great to have her home,’ she said about her youngest daughter, a University of Arkansas alumna, before noting that Paige isn’t staying at Ree’s newly-built home.
‘She is actually living in town, in the house that was my in-laws’ house,’ she said. ‘So it’s kind of nice that we still have that house, hadn’t sold it and so she’s moved in and made it her own.’
She shared that Paige started working on the ranch full-time back in January.
‘In terms of how long she’ll stay or whether it’ll be a period of her life or forever, we’re not really trying to predict or think about it too far in advance,’ she said.
‘I love that she’s here. She’s the first of our kids to really come back and work on the ranch full time.’
