Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson were looking forward to moving into a new state-of-the-art studio next week as they prepare for their expansion into the Melbourne market.
But it appears their plan to have their Kyle and Jackie O Show broadcast from a location in Sydney’s CBD has suffered a setback.
Production staff revealed on Wednesday the radio superstars new ‘home’ won’t be ready for next Monday as planned.
During the segment, Kyle, 52, asked what needed to be fixed in the studio to make it operational.
‘Are we talking six or seven little different bits and bobs?’ Kyle asked.

A producer replied: ‘Probably closer to 150-160.’
Meanwhile another Kyle and Jackie O staffer revealed the show’s crucial ‘censor’ machine was not working.
‘Oh, we don’t need that,’ Jackie, 49, joked.
Kyle, 52, did not reveal the exact location of the new studio, but told listeners it was in a building that featured ‘breathtaking’ views of Sydney’s harbour bridge and nearby Barangaroo. (Pictured)
The censor machine allows producers to intervene during live broadcasts so that offensive material can be removed before going to air.

It comes after Kyle and Jackie reportedly demanded a new state-of-the-art studio as part of their $200 million deal.
According to a report in Yahoo Lifestyle last November, the megastar duo hesitated to sign the deal until ARN executives agreed to a new studio.

The report said the entire ARN office would be moving from North Ryde back to a Sydney city location at the start of 2024.
The hosts have already started hinting the move, with Jackie recently joking that there is no need to fix a tech issue as they don’t have much longer in the studio.
The radio duo signed the record-breaking $200million, 10-year deal live on-air on Wednesday morning – keeping them on the airwaves until 2034.
