Maddy and Charlotte came under fire during Sunday’s episode of The Block over the placement of their toilet.
The pair completed their guest bathroom and were happy with the result – but judge Marty Fox was unimpressed.
He pointed out that the toilet was right by the door and was the first thing a guest sees.
‘Having that toilet the moment you walk in, as opposed to being hidden by the vanity, I think they’re actually the wrong way around’ he said.
Fellow judge Shaynna Blaze agreed that the placing was suspect.
The pair spent $19,756 on their guest ensuite – and the judges did have some positive comments.
‘I do love their actual sconces there, they’re beautiful’ Shaynna added.
‘I love the girls’ direction and I’m really glad that they’ve found their own personality because this is the first space that’s truly there’s.’

‘There’s really not a lot to fault,’ judge Darren Palmer insisted, despite the problematic loo.
Meanwhile, the fallout from revelations that a team on The Block has had previous renovation experience has continued.
Newcomers Maddy and Charlotte, who joined the cast last minute after the dramatic departure of Jesse and Paige, were exposed in footage found by Haydn’s wife Chelsea.
The promotional video for a building company shows the pair admitting to flipping houses, despite telling their fellow Blockheads they’re accountants.

And on Sunday’s episode, Haydn decided to grill the two young women about the footage.
‘I was watching videos of you girls last night,’ he said.
‘I don’t know how they found that. How did they put two and two together,’ they said.
Haydn then asked if the girls were the ambassadors for the company, to which they answered no.
‘Yeah I think they danced around it a bit,’ Haydn told producers later.
‘They’ve lied about what background they’ve got, the experience they’ve got and who knows what else?’

The Blockheads last week responded to the revelations.
Speaking to TV Week, several of the contestants unleashed on their co-stars while admitting they feel betrayed.
‘They flat out lied! They told us they were accountants – they didn’t mention they’d flipped houses,’ Haydn said.

The Block slam Scott Cam for his 'distasteful' comments – but the Channel Nine star has a point
‘They asked for advice on how to do things within a build, yet they obviously knew it all.’
Haydn’s wife Chelsea discovered the video of Maddy and Charlotte on Google, and his Blockhead partner Ricky also felt the Sydney sisters had an unfair advantage.
‘Me and H have never flipped a house together. It takes weeks to get to know each other’s strengths when it comes to renovating,’ the plumber, 34, said.
Despite the backlash, the sisters were defiant in their choice not to disclose their past experience.
‘We never lied. If the others had asked about our experience, we would have shared it, but they never did. It’s not on us to tell them the nitty-gritty,’ said Maddy, 25.
