And ahead of the historic season, Channel Nine has revealed this year the block in question will be located on Phillip Island.

But before ground is broken at the popular seaside escape, we take a look at what some the best of post-show renovations created by former contestants.

The pair, who sold the home for an undisclosed sum, have come a long way since they starred on the Block where they placed third and walked away with $40,000 – a minuscule amount compared to the $736,000 pocketed by winners Steve and Chantelle.

The couple, who became The Block’s first ever millionaires in 2020, bough the three-bedroom, one-bathroom home in 2021 for $610,000.

Taking to Instagram the pair revealed they gutted the tired old interior to make it over as an ultra modern open plan featuring an expansive living area.

Dated fixtures and joinery in the kitchen, laundry and bathroom were all revamped.

However, the major highlight for their reno is a lavish out door ‘living room’ with entertainment centre.

Kirsty and Jesse

And in March the couple took to social media to share the results of a recent budget transformation of Kirsty’s dad’s ‘tiny’ home.

Putting to use some stylish design skills they spruced up the old pad with a slick paint job, curtains bought from K-Mart and new furniture to create what dubbed a ‘fresh coastal look’.

‘You really don’t have to spend a lot of money to achieve an amazing result, some paint, styling and a weekend is all you need!,’ they added in the Instagram post.

Prior to appearing on the hit TV show, the couple had plenty of renovating experience under their belts.

According to Popsugar in 2021, they have bought and sold a total of six houses that they renovated during their time together.

They even pocketed $60,000 from the sale of their very first home, which they bought together when they were just 18 years old.

Earlier this year couple also performed a money-saving conversion on Jesse’s sister’s house.

Plans for the home renovation included a rumpus room for their two daughters as well as a vineyard.

Before buying the Rutherglen property, the Densten’s sold off their ‘forever home’ in North Melbourne in 2021.

After shooting to fame on the fourth season of The Block they later returned for The Block: All Stars in 2013, before competing on the first season of Nine’s Reno Rumble in 2015.

It comes after the couple finally managed to off load their House 2 for $3.125million in February after it was passed in during the hair raising Block auction last year.
