Sasha Mielczarek has finally sold his lavish Bowral home after failing to get an offer at auction and slashing the price.
The Bachelorette winner put the four-bedroom home on the market for $3.2million in January, and it went under auction the following month, but didn’t get any bids.
In April, Sasha, 44, then lowered the price of the property – located in Bowral, 116km from Sydney in the Southern Highlands – by $300,000 to $2.9million.
Seven months after first going on the market, Sasha has finally sold the home, known as Chester, for an undisclosed price at around $2.7million, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Sasha bought the rundown 1890s cottage with his mother Kym in 2020 for $1.3million and has given it a full renovation, complete with a new roof and windows.
Now, the luxurious three-bathroom home is a delightful mix of Old World charm with modern elegance and even boasts a separate self-contained studio apartment.
Featuring a meticulously preserved Victorian era façade, the home boasts timber flooring, grand ceilings and a lavish open plan in the main living areas.
With sleek white furnishings, the gorgeous master bedroom offers a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom.

The impressive property also boasts a lavish entertainment deck, a ‘period’ style porch and a large backyard.
The studio space serves as a completely separate dwelling, featuring both a bedroom and a self-serving kitchen, making it perfect for a dual-living set-up.
Sasha shared the renovation journey on Instagram, sharing before and after shots after he finished returning the rundown home to ‘its former glory’ in 2022.
‘Long time coming however well worth the wait! Introducing “Chester”, located in Bowral in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales,’ he wrote at the time.
‘Originally built in the late 1890s, my mother and I purchased the property at the start of the pandemic with the aim of restoring it to its former glory.

After completing the renovation, Sasha put the property up for rent for $1800 per week, with the price later being lowered to $1650 for a week-long stay.
According to a listing on Realestate.com.au, the property was last sold for $840,000 in July 2010 before Sasha snapped it up a decade later.
