Adele halted her Las Vegas concert last weekend to sing happy birthday to a fan in the crowd.

The superstar, 35, had seen a video online of the 12-year-old’s dad surprising her with tickets to the show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

In an adorable clip shared to social media on Friday, an air hostess is heard announcing that a passenger onboard, Natalie, would not be going on a business trip with her dad but will instead be attending Adele’s show for her birthday.

After seeing the video online, Adele paused her concert and asked the crowd to wish Natalie a happy 12th birthday.

‘My friend sent me a video of a dad, and I don’t remember his name, but a dad posted a video on Twitter today of his little girl, Natalie. She is here tonight!’ the singer exclaimed while on stage.

Adele continued: ‘On a United Airlines fight, the air hostess over the tannoy announced that she was not going to Vegas today with her dad on his work trip, but to actually see me in concert.

‘If they are here can the dad please “wooo”? Put the lights on! Oh, there they are!’

Adele then asked for the security team to grab a programme for her to sign for Natalie.

She added: ‘Happy birthday my darling and dad, you are the best dad in the world!’

Continuing on with her concert, she performed Someone Like You before asking the crowd to join her in singing Happy Birthday To You to Natalie.

The sweet moment comes after Adele added extra dates to her exclusive shows in Munich due to ‘phenomenal demand.’

The songstress will now perform an additional four dates to the previously announced summer run at Munich Messe.

Adele, who is currently performing weekly in a Las Vegas residency, will take to the stage in Europe on the 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 14th, 16th, 23rd and 24th of August 2024.

Earlier this week, fans were delighted when the global superstar announced the initial Adele in Munich dates, her first mainland Europe shows since 2016.

As previously reported, Adele will perform in an open-air environment that has been exclusively created for the special shows.

The bespoke arena will feature a combination of seated grandstands and standing areas with capacity for 80,000 people per night.

Announcing the news on Instagram on Wednesday, Adele told her fans: ‘So a few months ago I got a call about a summer run of shows. I’ve been content as anything with my shows in London’s Hyde Park and my residency in Vegas, so I hadn’t had any other plans.’

‘However, I was too curious to not follow up and indulge in this idea – a one off, bespoke pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I want to put on? Ohh!? Pretty much slap bang in the middle of Europe? In Munich?’

‘That’s a bit random, but still fabulous! Right after the Euros? Come on England! With the Olympics next door? Go on Simone! And some of my favourite artists playing shows too? Why…YES!!’

‘I haven’t played in Europe since 2016! I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer and end this beautiful phase of my life and career with shows closer to home during such an exciting summer. Guten Tag babes x.’

Later uploading a poster with the additional dates, she simply added: ‘For further details and to register for tickets, please go to Adele.com.’

Fans went wild at the announcement, with many commenting on Instagram that they were planning European road trips to see their idol.

Adele is currently performing the last leg of her highly acclaimed Las Vegas residency Weekends With Adele, which runs through mid-June.

The star sent her fans wild on Tuesday as she teased she would be revealing some exciting news in 24 hours.

The singer cut a glamorous figure in a black and video posted to her socials alongside the music to her single Oh My God.

Eagle-eyed followers spotted a date hidden amongst the montage of shots: ’31. 01. 2024′.
