Two minutes of terror: Horrifying videos of ISIS fanatic's attack from start to finish
A horrifying series of videos show ISIS fanatic Shamsud-Din Jabbar’s bloodthirsty New Orleans terror attack from start to finish.
Jabbar, 42, was gunned down by police two minutes after he steered his speeding pickup truck around a police barricade on the city’s famed Bourbon Street and intentionally plowed into a crowd of New Year’s Day revelers.
The attack killed 14 revelers, along with Jabbar, who was fatally shot in a firefight with police after the rampage. About 30 people were injured.
Jabbar, an US Army veteran who once served in Afghanistan, posted five videos on his Facebook account in the hours before the attack in which he proclaimed his support for the Islamic State group and previewed the violence that he would soon unleash in the famed French Quarter district.
Surveillance footage also revealed that Jabbar placed two improvised explosive devices in coolers at intersections around Bourbon Street a few hours before the attack. They were both rendered safe at the scene.

TOM LEONARD: Did New Orleans terrorist turn to IS during trip to Egypt last summer?
by Tom Leonard for The Daily Mail
In a YouTube video he posted in 2020 to advertise his services as an estate agent, Shamsud-Din Jabbar boasted of how his time in the US Army had taught him ‘the meaning of great service and what it means to be responsive and take everything seriously, dotting i’s and crossing t’s to make sure that things go off without a hitch’.
His faith in his military efficiency appears unbearably grim now that he has killed at least 14 people in an early morning car rampage through a crowd in New Orleans – an outrage President Biden said was ‘inspired’ by the Islamic State (IS).
The driver’s armed forces training certainly seemed in evidence as he deftly drove around police barricades protecting packed Bourbon Street in the historic French Quarter on New Year’s Eve, tore down the street and mounted the pavement before emerging from his vehicle brandishing an assault rifle.

Exclusive:The complicated love life of New Orleans terrorist Shamsud-Din Jabbar
The terrorist who unleashed chaos in New Orleans on New Year’s Day had three failed marriages and ‘paramours’ before he joined ISIS and murdered 15 people.
Shamsud Din Jabbar, 42, rammed the vehicle, flying an ISIS flag, into a crowd of New Year’s Eve revelers in New Orleans about 3.15am on Wednesday.
Wearing military gear and with bombs inside the white electric Ford F-150 Lightning, he mowed down pedestrians then got out and gunned more of them down.
Until a few years before his rampage, Jabbar seemed like a normal American – serving 13 years in the US Army, starting a real estate firm, and working at Deloitte.
The future terrorist appeared dashing and successful in uniform while making $120,000 a year as an IT consultant. He ultimately convinced three glamorous women to marry him.

MAUREEN CALLAHAN: The hideous truth that Biden refuses to tell you after New Orleans and Las Vegas attacks
by Maureen Callahan
Terrorism is alive and thriving on American soil.
The Biden administration, and the radical left, have the blood of American citizens on their hands.
Make no mistake: The dual, horrific New Year’s attacks — in New Orleans and Las Vegas — are the direct result of anti-Americanism espoused by progressives, embraced on Ivy League campuses, and enshrined as proof of a virtuous mind.
These attacks also bear all the hallmarks of Islamic extremism — not that you’ll hear our leaders say it. In Joe Biden’s America, feelings come first. Can’t risk offending anyone, even a cohort that seeks death to the West.
Ever on-brand, our utterly incompetent, disgraceful president hasn’t treated these two heinous attacks with proper urgency or gravity.
Instead of heading right back to the White House for a briefing in the Situation Room, dotard Biden stayed at Camp David. God forbid his latest holiday should be ruined

A raid on the home of Shamsud-Din Bahar Jabbar uncovered precursor chemicals normally used to build explosives.
A law enforcement source told CNN that they made the discover while investigating the mobile home in Houston, Texas.

The home gives the impression that Jabbar left in a hurry. A suitcase and two prayer mats were thrown over a blue couch in the living area, along with a black belt.
According to a neighbor Jabbar left his house just hours before he went on his New Year’s Day rampage, saying he was moving to New Orleans for a better job.

The terrifying history of Islamist extremism at New Orleans terrorist Shamsud Din Jabbar's local mosque
Shamsud-Din Jabbar was part of a Muslim community in Houston with a history of hard-line Islamism, DailyMail.com can reveal.
The 42-year-old killed 14 and injured dozens more after declaring his support for ISIS and ramming a Ford pickup truck through New Orleans on New Year’s Day.
The FBI has probed Jabbar’s ties to ISIS and hunted for potential accomplices. One focus is his Muslim immigrant community in northern Houston, and nearby mosque Masjid Bilal, which is now swarming with police, agents and armored vehicles.
The mosque belongs to The Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH), which runs 20 centers across Texas’ biggest city. It officially promotes tolerance, but the group also has a troubling track record of extremist preaching.
This includes its former cleric Zoubir Bouchikhi, who has been deported from the US. Bouchikhi has called non-Muslims ‘worse than animals,’ and shared anti-Christian Saudi propaganda at his Houston mosques.
Since Jabbar’s attack, the mosque and ISGH have gone quiet. They did not answer DailyMail.com’s requests for comment, and have reportedly urged members to brush off requests for information from investigators and journalists.
That’s according to an ISGH memo shared on social media, calling on congregants to refer queries to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), an advocacy group with ties to the ultra-conservative Muslim Brotherhood.
‘If anyone is contacted by the media, it is very important that you do not respond. If approached by the FBI and a response is necessary, please refer to CAIR and ISGH,’ says the note.
It is crucial that we stay united at this time as we condemn these terrible acts.’
Jabbar was killed in a shootout with officers after he exited his vehicle and started shooting, injuring two NOLA police officers who are in a stable condition.
An ISIS flag and weapons were found inside the vehicle. The FBI is assessing Jabbar’s ties to the violent armed Sunni group that was once a major force in Syria, Iraq, and elsewhere, but has since faded.

New Orleans police accused of being 'lackadaisical'
A security expert has said he believes that authorities in New Orleans may have got lackadaisical after handling larges in the past.
Clint Emerson, a retired Navy SEAL, told the New York Post that authorities might have been a victim of their own success.
He said: ‘There are so many events that happen outside of Mardi Gras on Bourbon Street [and] they’ve just been using the same old tactics, which have worked.
‘It’s like, “Well, we haven’t had an issue, so what do we need to improve?” I think they just got lackadaisical.’
He believes they should have pushed a perimeter around the celebrations, saying it should have been extended to one or two city blocks.
Over 300 cops and 60 state troopers had been downtown ahead of the celebrations.
Emerson added: ‘The bottom line is, unfortunately, when you talk about these lone-wolf, martyr-type deals where he knows he’s gonna’ die in the end — it’s difficult to stop that.’

He was found with their flag attached to a pickup he rammed into New Yearrevellers, killing 15 of them.

Ticket prices to the Sugar Bowl plummet as fearful fans flee New Orleans

Who is the Trump hotel Cybertruck bomber?
Tesla Cybertruck bomber Matthew Livelsberger is a long-serving married soldier who was on leave from active duty when he carried out the attack outside Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel, it has been revealed.
Livelsberger, 37, was identified by law enforcement sources as the bomber who died in the Wednesday attack that also left seven wounded. The electric vehicle exploded about 15 seconds after the driver pulled up in front of the hotel’s valet.
The blast was caused by ‘a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck’ or ‘very large fireworks’, according to Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
He lived in Colorado Springs and was an active member of the Army, and previously received a Meritorious Honor Award for work benefiting the US Embassy in Tajikistan.
Liveslberger was profiled by a local newspaper in Ohio for his work with the military in Afghanistan.
He grew up in Ohio and was married to social worker Sara Livelsberger, who in the lead up to the 2016 election shared a slew of Facebook posts spouting anti-Trump rhetoric.
According to CBS News, Liveslberger was on break from duty in Germany when he carried out the attack.
He lived with his wife, who hadn’t heard from him from several days, in Colorado Springs in a home they bought together in 2015, property records found.

Donald Trump breaks silence on Tesla Cybertruck explosion outside his Las Vegas hotel
President-elect Donald Trump has broken his silence on the Tesla Cybertruck explosion outside his Las Vegas hotel, vowing to rid America of ‘violent scum.’
Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to excoriate the security and justice establishment after Army veteran Matthew Livelsberger allegedly exploded the truck on Wednesday morning, killing one and injuring seven.
Trump wrote in a post: ‘Our Country is a disaster, a laughing stock all over the World! This is what happens when you have OPEN BORDERS, with weak, ineffective, and virtually nonexistent leadership.
‘The DOJ, FBI, and Democrat state and local prosecutors have not done their job. They are incompetent and corrupt, having spent all of their waking hours unlawfully attacking their political opponent, ME, rather than focusing on protecting Americans from the outside and inside violent SCUM that has infiltrated all aspects of our government, and our Nation itself.
‘Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen to our Country. The CIA must get involved, NOW, before it is too late. The USA is breaking down – A violent erosion of Safety, National Security, and Democracy is taking place all across our Nation.
‘Only strength and powerful leadership will stop it. See you on January 20th. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!’

New Orleans terrorist's motive may lie in his background
It was revealed Thursday morning that the Army veteran who rammed a truck into a crowd of New Year’s revelers in New Orleans had gone though a contentious divorce and an economy crisis before turning to terror.
Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, who was born and raised in Texas, had successfully climbed the corporate ladder after being dishonorably charged from the military, where he served as a human-resources and information-technology specialist and spent 11 months in Afghanistan.
He went on to study computer-information systems at Georgia State University, held a job at IT company Accenture and gave real estate a try before returning to Texas in 2018, starting a job as a cloud-consulting manager for Ernst & Young, an accounting company.
Jabbar then started work as a ‘senior solutions specialist at Deloitte from 2021 until at least the past fall. According to a pay stub shown in court, he made the equivalent of nearly $125,000 a year.
But Jabbar seemed to crack after his second divorce in 2020, when his then-wife of three years Shaneen Chanti got a restraining order against him.
‘Time is of the essence. I can not afford the house payment. It is past due in excess of $27,000 and in danger of foreclosure if we delay settling the divorce,’ Jabbar wrote in an email to his then-wife’s lawyer in 2022.
Jabbar claimed he was broke at the time, telling the court he had a net monthly income of about $7,500 but monthly expenses that were about $8,960.
He also said the real estate company he had formed had lost more than $28,000 in the previous year and that he had taken on $16,000 in credit card debt.
At some point over the last years Jabbar converted to Islam and became increasingly devout, per some reports.
